    Home brew!

The St Peter's stout is very nice, it was my last brew a few months ago, to start with I didn't hold out much hope for it but it's one of those that improves drastically with age, I will definitely do another. Sadly I am off drinking at the moment due to the hay fever
  2. I came across them a while back and from the few reviews out there they are not that great.
  3. Ebay will ask to see some proof of postage.
  4. I know someone that had a camera returned that the buyer said was faulty, when it was returned it wasn't the same camera he sent. I think they are far too greedy with their fees, I just sold a fairly pricey pump and the commission was mad imo.
  5. and also that they are the goods that you actually sent. I take serial numbers of anything I sell on ebay now, not that I will be selling much on there anymore.
  6. As far as I am aware you can't list anymore if you don't link to a paypal account. Ebay is crap now.
  7. Dumping her is the best thing you could have done. Do you really want to be working for people like that ?
  8. Having bought the Halfords pro socket and spanner set when it was on special offer, it's OK but I can't say much more than that about it imo, I have a fair bit of Clarke professional socket set gear and that has been abused like mad but still in very good condition, and have proved their worth on worn bolt heads. I would like Snap-on but have a bad habit of not putting tools away properly when we have a break down in the field and losing them, so would be insane for me to spend too much money on tools. The only thing I do intend to treat myself to soon is a Snap-on torque wrench as I am sick of inaccurate poor quality one's.
  9. Sitting here doing bookwork atm If river weren't looking like tea I would go kayaking over the weekend, but looks like I will have to settle for fitting some more of the minibus/camper out
  10. Happy birthday Jon, hope it's going well for you, have a great one.
  11. We have one of these we will be selling at some point soon plastic chicken coop We used to let ours out during the day and forgot to put them in one night and had a visit from the fox, we won't be replacing them
  12. I run 265/75 16 bfg all terrains on one landy, and did run 265/75 16 bfg mud terains on the other but have just fitted a set of 33/12.5 15 bfg mud terrains to it. Out of the lot I prefer the all terains in 265 they grip well across the fields even with the trailer behind and fully loaded, and drives well on the road, the mud terains in 265 are good, but can be a bit noisy, although they are the old pattern. and finally the 33/12.5 look good but are not that great on long runs. I will probably take them off and put the 265 back on. One of my 33/12.5 is a cooper and it's always the first to spin.
  13. Those pictures were used last year on a fake listing I go along with neither being genuine
  14. My brothers g/f is a trained sports therapist thingy and she gave me a massage when I buggered my back up the other week and it was very nice, certainly helped my back loads but I also felt much more relaxed for a few days after. If she ever decides to do it for a living I will definitely book in once a month at least.
  15. Probably done about 50 or so transactions on it this month. Definitely got us extra work when I was doing turf laying jobs. I would much rather people paid by card than cheque or cash, no more visits to the bank, and you know you are going to get paid, and just makes life easier, especially when we don't see the customer.
  16. I have the same machine, through barclaycard Machine is £25 plus vat a month Debits are 15p Credit cards 1.29% Business credit cards 1.8% Have decided to buy the machine outright this year, they are £350 or there about's.
  17. Looks a bit buzz lightyear to me To infinity and beyond.
  18. Yep that's what I use, very handy and makes a decent coffee.
  19. Haha it was probably another one of their dodgy sales tactics to try and get me to stay. "you will get broader search terms"
  20. I was told today by Yell that your site will come up on yell if someone does a direct search for your name, you have a free listing. I ditched them today after 31 years of advertising with them. They made a fatal mistake of putting call counters on all of our adverts last year and it backfired on them Yellow pages used to be our main source of work but times move on.
  21. Without going into too much detail on an open forum. if the neighbour thinks he is in the wright, is bloody minded and takes it to court, the hassle, unseen costs and stress of defending the case will most likely make who ever does the job wish they had left it well alone, or charged considerably more than the job was worth to allow for the grief and unseen losses you could have. Sorry I am just looking at this from the practical angle. I couldn't agree more with that, knowledge is always good.
  22. Have to agree with the above. Why would you want the hassle ?.
  23. Not enough obviously, put more in
  24. I just watched this on your youtube channel Thats a lot of water, should be powering a turbine.
  25. It wouldn't be the whole cabinet being painted, most likely only the doors.
