  1. I have now finished the box. It is not all my own work, i must admit i did have a lot of help from a good friend of mine. Also i must say a big thankyou to steve ( slackbladder) on here for providing me with the veneers that were just right.
  2. Treeman, you really sound like a top guy to know / work for !!!!!!!!!
  3. Well i did my cs30 with my dads husqy 135. A brilliant little saw, but a sod to start. I did my cs31 with my makita ea4300, i love this saw and planning on getting another makita. But as daft as this sounds my dads 10yr old used and abused macculloch starts easier than any of them.
  4. I dont do any carving, but if i did, that would be the saw for me. It looks really neat and tidy imo.
  5. Thats a nice lump of oak you got there deezy.
  6. Ive got the makita ea4300, and love it. ideal for small firewood production.
  7. As doobin says, a cheap berlingo and trailer and you carnt go far wrong.
  8. Thats smart, i like that.
  9. haha, i bought my daughter one a few years ago. Might just have to get another now.
  10. For me, the ideal start out combo is a small van and trailer, or if not a van then a little jimny.
  11. I have bought my dad one of those saws for his xmas pressie from my mam.
  12. Very nice, thats good going for the intricate stuff.
  13. Citroen berlingo for me. Good ride, load volume, good mpg, reliable.
  14. i have an older model stihl, which i love. But if i was to buy another it would be a nilfisk.
  15. The new mak model is now the EA 7901 i think, so is there much difference to the old dcs 7901.
  16. Anyone else still using their kettlebells, i just bought myself another one.
  17. Very nice. As dervish says, what finish do you use ?
  18. Both my wife and my dad have vauxhall agila's. they have a 3cyl 1 ltr engine. Bags of room inside. My dad uses his like a van, puts the rotavator in and alsorts.
  19. Same here. webpage not found.
  20. been looking at fein kits, still decent pieces of kit.
  21. Haha brilliant !, such a simple thing. Was it a spur of the moment thing or was it planned.
  22. My dads old mcculloch 335 has an electrolux sticker on it. I too believe dolmar produced one of the first chainsaws alongside mcculloch.
  23. makita / dolmar for me. But my dad has an old mculloch 335 that just wont die, and is prefered over a newer husqy. I like the new versions as well.
  24. Hi Rob, as an idea, couldnt you use wall plate straps, as these are already predrilled, and you could just cut them to the required length.
