  10. I used to have an old style citroen c15 van. Really good ground clearence, bombproof engine, just watch out for rust tho.
  11. To be honest mac, its rare i use the dremel now, i just take it for back up. But i would be very surprised if it didnt last for 2 or 3 touch ups on an 18" bar. You can also buy spare batteries for the dremel.
  12. I carnt get my head around this, i know i dont own a granberg sharpener, but surely to have to carry a power pack around to power the thing is surely not worth the hassle. I have a cordless dremel which i sometimes use which doesnt need a power pack. Am i missing something. Does the granberg sharpening stones fit the dremel ?
  13. Hi Jack, nice one matey. But i'm nearly 45, 2 knackered knees, and several other ailments, I did karate all through my twenties and early thirties but not done owt for nearly 10 years. I really miss the sparing and rough and tumble of it, just dont want any more injuries.
  14. Cheers for the invite rachel, i'll wait till ive got some gear and see how i get on first. Dan, thats an interesting idea.
  15. Countryboy, just follow the thread and go for it. I'm just doing it for the kids and to have fun. I just want to go about it the right way if possible.
  16. Sorry for all the questions rachel, but why do you have an eye on one end of the rope.
  17. Ooh, i have bad knees to start with. I broke and dislocated one kickboxing years ago. I might have to look at something a bit softer then. No i'm not a climber.
  18. Bloody hell jon, is everything ok pal ?
  19. Thanks rachel, what rope would you recomend.
  20. Hi, just wondering if anyone does judo or have one. I am thinking about joining a club. Had a taste of it before, and really liked it. Just wanting to know other peoples views/ experiences. Thanks Harvey.
  21. Hi all, I dont climb at all for my job, and never intend to. However, whenever i take the kids to woods they are always on at me to climb, make swings, rope bridges etc. Now i can vaguely remember how to make rope bridges, but ive never really learned anything about climbing. So i guess my question is how do i get started and what basic gear do i need, remembering this is just for fun and not for work. Hope this makes sense. Thanks Harvey.
  22. Quick question out of curiosity, whats the biggest new mac you can buy nowadays.
