  1. Hello, welcome and good day. Please tell us all a little about yourself.
  2. looks a clean tidy van. Hope it lives up to its expectation now.
  3. Go pick your van up stefan. You have been more than reasonable. Just take it somewhere else for peace of mind.
  4. Pure rapeseed oil from which ever shop i'm in at the time. Used it for years with no real problems at all.
  5. Thanks Ed. So does that mean i can just take a cutting from both a male and female bush and just plant them nearby. H.
  6. Hi All My mam has a self set holly bush growing in her garden. This is not a problem apart from the fact its bothering her that it has no berries on it. I know there are so called male and female plants but dont know which way round they berry. So to make my mam happy what do i need to do to make her have berries on her holly bush.
  7. for me it would be a jimny. Probably more reliable than a land rover.
  8. Thankyou, as i said, we will all be old one day. For me, its just a case of looking after the vunerable the best we can.
  9. The 1.9 engine is the best one as far i'm concerned. I had a C15 van with that engine for ten years and the engine never missed a beat despite being worked hard. I now have the new shape berlingo multispace and it again is a brilliant car. If i was in the market for another van it would be berlingo all the way.
  10. Well i'm sorry but i think the old lady was stitched up by her neighbours and the so called gardener. £50 for 5 branches, if that happened to my parents i would be fuming. I have done a fair few jobs for oaps in the local village. They are always word of mouth jobs, and i always keep the price to a minimum and discuss everything with the owner to ensure they know what i am doing and the cost. We will all be old one day, and want someone we can trust to do odd jobs for us.
  11. Yes, liking the simple but robust zetor.
  12. Yes its straight off the A1, close to bernard castle. Its a nice little village from what i remember of it. Worked up there some years back.
  13. Thanks for the info everyone. I think when i get round to it, i will plump for the 94 model.
  14. Yes i reckon that's a decent price. But pm shavey, i'm sure he would match it.
  15. Hi Ian, i've got the ps350. Had it a few months now and its a cracking little saw:thumbup:. I was planning to get the ps320 from shavey over the summer with a carving bar on it, but had to put my plans back, but will be contacting him soon to order the saw. Sorry no idea about aspen. H.
  16. Hi Chaps I have bee looking round for a new split shaft strimmer, brushcutter. For years i have been putting up with bloody ryobi / homelite. Between us, me and my dad have 3 of these things and we are both ready to launch them. Anyway, i was looking round a stihl dealership yesterday and came across the km56 power head. Are these any good ? i know the attachments are at least another £100 odd, but if they are a good buy then i wont mind. I know there are more powerful units, but it will only be used for strimming around the allotments, and an odd occasion around the church yard. So, are these any good, or whats the alternatives, for a similar price. It must be split shaft. I dont mind what manufacturer it is as long as it works. Also as daft as it is, has anyone got good things to say about the mculloch strimmer. Sorry for rambling. H.
  17. Machine mart do a small petrol splitter for about £600. Dont know how good it is though. Also had a quick look on the oxdale site, i quite fancied the look of the towable one,(RT400).
  18. Really like that photo. Is that your tractor ?
  19. I'd go with a dolly from shavey. ive only ran dolly or maks for the last 5 years. Carnt fault them. Lovely saws to use.
  20. Speak to andrew (shavey) about dolmar, he's a top bloke. He also had a big solo for sale i think. That looked a beast.
  21. the toyota dyna, is a nice truck. Know plenty with them.
  22. Get up, stretch, then a shower every morning without fail. Cuppa tea whilst getting dressed then outa door. Hopefully if i'm up early enough, then either a boiled egg sandwich, or if i'm lucky and have time, then scrambled egg on toast.
  23. Hi john, how would you compare the echo to the dolmar, which one has the edge, or are they both as equal to one another.
  24. I have often wondered about a smallish tractor, with a load of implements to go with it. Therefore you can cover a whole host of jobs and be more versatile.
