  1. ok, taking this rental property that trump ' apparently' wouldnt let black people rent. Right, lets say it is your property you are renting out. Would you not like a say in who rents it from you ? after all it is your property, your house, so therefore you have every right to have a say in who lives there. would you want someone who couldnt speak english renting it ( meaning every communication would have to go through an interpreter ) i wouldnt. Would you want a known murderer / drug dealer / rapist / etc living there. i wouldnt. so, does this make me racist ? i dont think so. Its just me being sensible in the choice of people i want living in my property.
  2. i'm betting on farage. But either way, i bet it was interesting
  3. Thanks justme, but we have to design and draw it on autocad, which i already have. Its not actually going to be built, but for the project i have to do everything but the actual build.
  4. but surely it is better to speak out and raise an issue than shy away and hide from it.
  5. Well for what its worth I wish we had more of nigel farage, donald trump and tyson fury in our politcs. At least they dont tip toe around things, if they want to say something then they say it and sod the pc brigade. At least you know where you stand with them.
  6. Cheers steve and codlasher. What i have in my mind at the moment, and what i would like to get to work is this: Proper canadian style log cabin ( but must have 4 bedrooms ) the roof i quite like the idea of one of those grass roofs I would somehow like a woodburner to provide heating and cooking (aga) and hot water, i also like to incorporate solar power where possible. I would like a rainwater system to collect water for toilet use All windows and doors to be double glazed in hardwood, waste water to go into a cesspit tank, then collected by tanker, ( am i right into thinking this could be turned into liquid fertilizer ?) what im not sure on yet is footings and how the cabin would sit on them. Any thoughts so far ?
  7. Hi everyone, i need some help. I am studying a btec construction course. As one of my assignments, i have to do a complete set of architect drawings for either a large 4 bed log cabin or timber frame bungalow. I have to include all specs and cover everything from best types of groundworks to best roof covering. I have to cover best type of heating, insulation, absolutely everything and the costings as well. I have to go really indepth with everything connected with the build. So my question is where is the best place to get hold of as much info as possible. I could do with some sample plans, costings etc if possible. I know the internet is full of info, i could just do with narrowing it down abit. If any timber framers or log cabin builders fancy getting in touch, and helping me out, then that would really be much appreciated. Thanks Harvey
  8. For me it would be either a jimny / vitari or an old jeep cherokee.

Well done Andrew, quality product and quality supplier. Them 9010's are nothing sort of raw power and grunt. Wish i had more need to play with mine. Certainly gets the blood pumping.

Is that a replacement for the mak 4300 like my old one Andrew.
  16. Out of interest, what exactly is the difference between ford ranger and a mazda b2500, apart from name and decals. I have always thought of the ford as being the most agricultural of pick ups with less electronics to go wrong. ( not inc landy)
  17. Dont know jon, i have to take some of my teeth out out to clean them jon, so i use a power washer on them then disinfectant. On my normal teeth i just use a hand held job.
  18. i really like your photo,s, wish you would show them more often.
  19. Another vote for the dolly. I have the mak version on a 28 bar.
  20. I have seen a few round my way, and i think either doncaster or barnsley council have some on their fleet. I quite like the look of them.
  21. Hi Guss, thats a brilliant little set up. Is yours road legal, if so how easy is it to get them old kubotas up to road legal standard.

  23. Have a look at the compact tractor thread. They are a lot more versatile.
  24. just about to do some college work jon. Been at work this morning, then on with some woodwork projects for myself, today.
  25. I still dont use mine as often as i should, as i use the one at work instead. However i carnt see any problems with what you want to do, apart from the timber being a little heavy for the rollers, so you may just have to help the timber along. Good machines though, Glad i have mine.
