  3. :thumbup::lol:
  4. I got my 350 at a trade in price for my knackerd mak saw, so dont know 'real' price. I have never tried an echo, so i'm in no position to say which is best. All i can do is give the dolly the good review it deserves. cheers H.
  5. Smart, thanks for the info.
  6. Haha, just what i was thinking, but as i'm going thru a divorce, they would make a nice thankyou gift for the people that have helped me.
  7. hi Ged, nice work. What size hole did you bore, and what forstner bits do you use with it being end grain. cheers H.
  8. Yep, i had to do the same for mine many years ago. The more info you can give them the better.
  9. Hi All, i got this little 350 from shavey with a normal bar then got got the carver bar at a later date. I love this saw, not tried carving yet but i get so giddy when i pick this saw up its unbelievable. So nice and light and nimble, yet with grunt as well. Buy One !
  10. Hi all Does anyone on here grow roses. I want to start growing them on my allotment to add a bit of colour and variety. I fancy growing the climbing ones, but also want to be able to cut the flowers to bring inside. Any info and advice for a total beginner would be appreciated. Thanks H
  11. Hi mike, really liking the bottom two. Are they cnc cut or are they printed.
  12. Really like the yellow one Ian.
  13. I know what your saying, but something that small yet powerful, could be ideal for a small air pin gun. Had a look on web but couldnt find one. Still a decent bit of kit tho.
  14. My thoughts as well:001_smile: TCD do they do a 240v one, ideal for 2nd fix joinery pin gun.
  15. nice work ainsley, you will go far.
  16. Brilliant !. My daughter says its so cute and is now begging me to make her one. I have no talent at all in carving, despite just buying a carving bar from shavey. lol
  17. Same here mick, me and daughters love watching it. Its nice to be able to sit down with my two daughters and watch "clean" tv for a change for fun.
  18. Hi blue, its for my cousin. She has an ice cream van. Its a jokey thing between us. It started as a conversation about death and coffins, and then i said i could make you an urn shaped like an ice cream van. So i want to do one as a planter, if you get me. lol.
  19. When screaming lord sutch created the loony party and made all those big statements everyone laughed at him. What happened, over time most of his policies came to fruition via other parties that cottoned on he wernt such an idiot after all. I believe the same is true about farage, people laugh at him now, but just wait a few years, they wont be laughing then. I honestly believe that farage is one of the best and brainiest politicians out there, and if people had more sense they would team him up with bojo, and steamroller us out of europe.
  20. Hi all, slight derail from the ice cream van, but is anyone still making (or know where i can get them from), those die grinding attachments for burning eyes into animals. Have been looking at old threads but the only person (norfolkngood) doesnt appear to post anymore. Any ideas ?
  21. I was looking at these last night for ideas Log Cabin Lodges Co The home of handcrafted log cabins in the UK
  22. After years of saying i'm going to try both, i now have an idea for a simple project. First of all is turkey oak ok for carving. I have access to a large lump of it. (It has been down at least 4 years, just need to cut a block off it, its approx 2ft dia) Out of it i would like to mill and carve an ice cream van, but also have the back hollowed out to be able to use as a planter. Does this make sense ? If so any guidance on how to go about it would be greatly appreciated. thanks
  23. when i can find out how to do it, and when they are fully drawn then i post all the pictures and info up. At college on wednesday so will find more details out then.
  24. That is awesome. Well done.
  25. Hi andy, i'm still on with the project. But had problems at college with the tutor leaving, and them not having anyone else to replace them with. Nearly got all my drawings and specs done, but have cheated a little, by copying a lot of info and price guides off the net. What started out as a good project has now become a pain as we all dont know what direction the new tutor will want to go with it.
