  1. have you thought about checking the shelves at pc world etc. Might be something usefull and cheap on there.
  2. Pity, i have 3 near me and none of them have them in stock.
  3. I take it , it's been worth its money then dean.
  4. Do B&Q still do their version
  5. Hi all Thinking about buying a triton superjaws workbench / clamp system, plus accessories. Has anyone any experience of them. Pro's / cons any cheaper alternatives ? Cheers H
  6. Wet and windy in south yorkshire jon. Been rained off today. Meant to be putting a roof on.
  7. Hi, i use the im350 for roofing work and 1st fix joinery. Its a decent bit of kit. Nails a nd gas a bit pricey tho ( but just add that to job ) Need to keep gas warm in winter, otherwise gun wont fire correctly. I think mutley on here has an hitachi, and he rates that highly and it is cheaper. The new dewalt ones look the business and dont need gas ( i think), but i havent used one. However i have the dewalt pin gun and when new it was a match for paslode, but it developed a fault and no one has been able to sort it out (main dealers), so i would be a bit warey. My personal choice if it suited would be a compressor and air gun, far less to go wrong but you have the hassle and restriction of air lines. cheers H
  8. I think you can get them in machine mart as well.
  9. I have the clarke one from machine mart (about £60). It does me well.
  10. Good guy. You'll love the saw ian, i have the old version and love it. Starts first pull. and so nice and light handling wise.
  11. As well as a jimny like i first suggested. Whilst out today, i saw an original toyota rav 4 swb, and that looked a tidy workhorse.

Looks like a nice saw Andrew. Is that an upgrade of the 350. I will still want a 320 with carver at some point in future if thats ok. cheers H
  13. Out of interest john, who makes the engines for the dollys / makita saws, and what are they like in comparrison to kioritz. Am i right in thinking kioritz make tractors or tractor engines. cheers H
  14. Hi John, Are you talking about the same CS600, you started the thread with. 3 years work and no breakdowns, thats a hell of a saw . What bar you run it on now, i take it you took the 20' off. Any pics of it in current state. You still rate it above the equivalant dolly.
  15. Breakdown cover / ins details in case of accident / single use camera.
  16. Hello, welcome and good day. Please tell us all a little about yourself.
  17. looks a clean tidy van. Hope it lives up to its expectation now.
  18. Go pick your van up stefan. You have been more than reasonable. Just take it somewhere else for peace of mind.
  19. Pure rapeseed oil from which ever shop i'm in at the time. Used it for years with no real problems at all.
  20. Thanks Ed. So does that mean i can just take a cutting from both a male and female bush and just plant them nearby. H.
  21. Hi All My mam has a self set holly bush growing in her garden. This is not a problem apart from the fact its bothering her that it has no berries on it. I know there are so called male and female plants but dont know which way round they berry. So to make my mam happy what do i need to do to make her have berries on her holly bush.
  22. for me it would be a jimny. Probably more reliable than a land rover.
  23. Thankyou, as i said, we will all be old one day. For me, its just a case of looking after the vunerable the best we can.
  24. The 1.9 engine is the best one as far i'm concerned. I had a C15 van with that engine for ten years and the engine never missed a beat despite being worked hard. I now have the new shape berlingo multispace and it again is a brilliant car. If i was in the market for another van it would be berlingo all the way.
  25. Well i'm sorry but i think the old lady was stitched up by her neighbours and the so called gardener. £50 for 5 branches, if that happened to my parents i would be fuming. I have done a fair few jobs for oaps in the local village. They are always word of mouth jobs, and i always keep the price to a minimum and discuss everything with the owner to ensure they know what i am doing and the cost. We will all be old one day, and want someone we can trust to do odd jobs for us.
