  1. If your quote has being accepted then it doesn't matter how long it takes, some blokes like to stand about drinking tea, we like to crack on and go home.
  2. They are great for messing around on but not working imo, too easy to knock the clutch when your working not good dropping a few inch when cutting! you cant go wrong with a good old prussic until you get the hang of things.

  5. I would be wary of buying old chippers through an auction, unless your a good mechanic. Most stuff i have seen go through has being knackered

    Trailers

Without passing a trailer test your limited to 750kg that includes the weight of the trailer and load! most cheapo trailers are uter shite, you will overload it and break it and end up at square 1! put some money towards a trailer test and go for a better trailer. Its easy, if you can already reverse a trailer and are not starting from scratch book a couple of lessons with another firm to get your head back in the "driving to pass your test mode" and go for it, trying to cut corners and do stuff the quick way will inevitably lead to you spending more time and money.
  16. Springs on top roller adjusted correctly? there's no **** stoppint the top roller from coming back down? 3 cm is a big gap especially when its trying to drag small stuff through.
  17. Are the blades on the infeed rollers worn down? that's what happened on my 190 so we put new ones on.
  18. Crime mysteriously follows a lot of them around, a load cut steel barriers on old council yard and parked up there for a week, same week lass from riding school had horse box towed away early morning. Police seem to be unable to do anything!
  19. I didn't say the op said that, I was asking the question as to why they think they are above the law, I said sorry because some folk think the sun shines out of their arses.
  20. Sorry but why do they think they are above the law? I'm not racist but they are the root of more trouble, scum!
  21. I just got a new 362 a few months ago, if its owt like its predecessor the 341 it will be a good saw, it took 3 years of punishment 6 days a week before being retired.
  22. Worked for dynorod, paddling around in other folks bab, condoms & used tampons! it was £12 an hour which kept me there for 2 whole weeks. Last straw was a call out to a block of flats occupied by loads of immigrants who was trying to rob stuff out of the van while we cleared a man hole that was over flowing with sh*t! 5 mins into job i drove van back to depot and threw keys on gaffers desk ha.
  23. We used to do this when i first started up and didn't have the capacity to split and move timber, sold plenty, quite a few never came back, we came to the conclusion that splitting it was too much hard work! problem was it was all the tight arses that bought rings and they wanted it for nawt! we now sell split up ready to go.
  24. Ha ha i have had that 1 before, even after arranging a time a few days before! never went back There is some good folk about or "normal people" takes nowt to be polite
  25. You would be surprised, if i left the front door open im sure they would unbolt the radiator off the wall, must be 4 scrap vans drive past in the morning! and thats just the ones i see
