  1. Seems there’s a lot of fattys in denial on here
  2. Sometimes I think the manufactures just make things for the sake of making something!
  3. Local dealer is supplying this special build
  4. Happy birthday Darrin!
  5. Nice work!
  6. I once worked with a guy who always had a sprinkle in his roll ups, he was envious that i didn't have any addictions, so one day set himself the challenge of going cold turkey all day. All was going well until we pulled off site at lunch time, him driving the lorry, i thought he was messing about driving on the wrong side of the road, until a car came towards us, i told him "Er, this side of the road mate" "you sure" "yes, look theres a care coming!!!" Told him to have a splif and return to normal As for tattoos, Stockholm is now believed to be home to the world's most inked population outside of tribal societies so its not a big deal here. But tattoos are generally well executed here rather than blurry cheap looking ones. Although i do think people with facial tattoos are a bit of a dick, thats just a personal opinion though
  7. I wonder if you broke into the police station if they’d bother looking into it? Sorry to hear of your visitors
  8. Cheers Steve, just gave them a mail. Cheers Mick, yeah i understand with the tow stepping, although I'm pretty sure, according to EU law, you're free to buy from who-ever you like, but that might not make that distributer too popular with the manufacture. Steves suggestion is near my family so could buy in person next month!
  9. Can anyone recommend me a helpful Ifor Williams dealer for parts? Need a new lowering solenoid, Ebay has one for another pump set-up for £40, but none for my pump fitment The Distributer for Ifor here in Sweden, i have a feeling, are trying to pull my pants down at £400 for one. (they succeeded in the past with the rear light lens - £60, compared to a complete light console inc lens for around £25 in the UK!) Thanks
  10. Mine used to happily sit at 80mph diddnt like hills much much but still great trucks
  11. The mk3’s are awesome trucks, so simple, super tough and reliable yet cruises at 80
  12. Shavings, but if people are like me, i don't read stuff on boxes and would open it up inside Or just give people the option when ordering: Eco packaging £0 Bubble wrap £2,50
  13. 2015 Hilux 3.0 auto 28-30mpg (not towing) 2014 Caddy 1.6d manual, 50mpg mixed roads 60mpg if avoiding motorway speeds (calm driving figures!)
  14. Cheers for the quick replies! It is still on the uk hyd oil, never any problem with roller or track function, or last winter, a little slow when cold but normally let the machine warm up before going full revs/chipping. Fillers the breather on this one too, just never noticed the excess oil foaming, even in the filler neck before. I filled up to midway in the sight glass, but it seems to chuck oil out if theres any oil visible in the sight glass. What was "abnormal" was not that it chucked out oil after potentially over filling, thats fine, but that it done it again today in the morning without topping up, even after chipping for 2 hours yesterday, id thought the oil level had sorted itself out yesterday morning! I'll change oil and see if i can find a filter on Monday. tracks in for changing the oil?
  15. Jensen 530 vari-track, checked the hydraulic oil level (when very cold) and topped up yesterday morning (couldn't see it in the glass which seems "normal" when cold) but it seeps oil from the stop-bar plunger (looking at this on monday), so topped up anyway to mid-way between min and max. turned machine on and after a few minutes on a fast idle it chucked out a bit of oil from the breather and after showed to be more than full in the viewing glass. used the machine for about 2 hours yesterday. Today, on warm up (been out all night again in -15c it done the same, but this time chucking out foaming oil, quite a bit, then settled down and worked fine Why does it do this? is the level in the viewing glass for warm oil? @Mike Hill, @PeteB?
  16. Felling Beeches? NO! Have you considered a light crown reduction in order to increase light levels? only joking, you want non native species gone but standing dead habitat kept, sounds like an interesting project. put some pictures up if you can And you're poisoning a living tree, i think some small bits of plastic is the least of your environmental worries! Eco plugs from the side on thin barked trees should work well, follow the recommended intervals for the plugs, and buy the correct drill bit (the one with the stopper welded on) and a good drill with good batteries! Will certainly be the cleanest method of application of poison and no risk to other plants or wild life.
  17. Colin, the [email protected] is the email address, send your questions there as asked as Gustaf might not be a daily active member on here and questions here might get missed
  18. 4 wheel drive Mike! Based on a synchro transporter, The last axle has no drive. after using a regular transporter tipper I reckon having an extra axle is really needed to hold the weight
  19. Haha no! Interesting vehicle though
  20. How about a 4wd, double cab, tipper with a crane on a car license and a ton payload apparently?!
  21. A 110 double cab tipper would be a smaller box than a jap crew cab tipper! - length of the 110 standard bed is under 1 meter, a double cab hilux for example is 1.5m. A crew cab defender 130 bed is only 1.8 for reference - the same as a hilux king cab, which has about the same legroom in the back as the defender Nice setup 5 Shires, works for you which is most important
  22. Thanks for posting David. Great that action has been taken. The fines are not nearly high enough imo. Its not like it was just a little bit off from the original remit. Did i really read "lopping" in the article?! It looks like the "original firm" had started a sympathetic reduction (look at 11 o'clock, and over the house) was this not enough for the client? hence them "not being able to complete the work" - kicked off the job by the client? did the client not bear any responsibility?
  23. Id go for a residential 10 week course, its a crash course covering the basics, giving you the basic qualifications needed by most employers. And if you haven't, get your BE car licence
  24. They are a generic machine, re-branded several times over. not necessarily a bad thing, plenty of stuff is re-branded. Dealer support will be the main consideration. Id be interested if you do get a price, they seem pretty expensive here ( caller Thaler)
  25. Looks very good!
