With the middle floor they're about £1100+vat, just the tray about £800+vat from work system I was lucky and got a used one, supposed to be for an amorak, but cut a bit go the frame out to fit over the hilux's wheel arches and its a near perfect fit

Buy one, i brought one at the end of last year, and am using it twice as much as i thought, probably more I don't have gaps in the calendar, but after for example, a days subbying, ill do a few stumps, an extra hour, and double my money that day

Shouldn't be too tippy, looks like the tracks hydraulic motor powers the front rotor wheel, and clamps onto the chassis. so its not gonna tip up and down like it was if only attached to the wheel hub. i would guess its only slightly front heavy. Very innovative!

Imo you atleast need to recover your hourly costs, break it down, tell him he's right, you'll do it for your basic hourly rate "seeing as we were already there" 2 guys £40 ph x 1,5 hour = £120 + additional tipp fee off £18 .

What was the price of the original job and time it took? what was he price of the extra and time it took? Removal of waste for both?

Worked a bit for a company that had a 27hp koler engine on a Vermeer grinder, a couple thousand hours, never serviced, was dry of oil when I checked, still ran and still does as far as I know!

Ive a 2015 3,0 auto hilux, a solid, reliable truck - it was their reputation that made me choose the hilux! First i had a flip up top, great, looks cool, but slightly too little space for me, and very, very easy to break into. So i ordered an aluminium canopy (https://www.expedition-equipment.com/product-category/4x4-bushtech-canopy-top-accessories/4x4-bushtech-canopies/) Which was actually cheaper than the plastic ones here in Sweden! Far more secure. Got a sliding tray at the same time. The tray takes up quite a bit of room but very handy. because of the sliding tray with middle floor, i only have about 50% more room than the flip up lid.

Things have changed Stefan, more and more work is being done by climbing arbs, mainly on the "big" lines where trees can't be within falling distance and need reducing to specific heights. The "nature value" of leaving high (like 10meter high!) stumps and, ahem, topping trees is getting more and more important, even out in the middle of nowhere. Arb work isn't carried out by power companies but subbed out to regular arb firms. some base their business around line work, some just compliment their business with it

Vertex vent for me, fits my big head and all ive ever had, i like it and tbh, not willing to try anything else! When i did make the jump from employee, to self employed, i did go crazy and change from white to black (the black one then sat in the cupbord for months as it looked wrong )
