I’ve a Nørrana jacket, Norwegian and Norwegians know a thing or two about rain! Can’t remember the model, will check later. used it for skiing, beach walks in winter storms, snow storms and never let me down. retail was about £600 about 6 years ago

Know your Latin tree names. NPTCs, first aid, and ISA or ETW will satisfy most companies in Europe If a company’s hiring or looking to hire foreign workers chances are the common language will be English. Imo when you’re out and about in a country, try and learn some basic phrases to be a little courteous. Badly making an effort goes a long long way compared to arrogantly speaking English IME -
I think rough hewn is on about forestry and your on about ringing up Arb butts. So your both right for your different working environments

Might be reading this wrong, but a 460 won't give you the feel of a 462, they're worlds apart. The 460 is a great 70cc saw, the 461, slightly better, and the 462 miles better. The 572 husqvarna is also a great saw, no real difference performance wise to the 462, just a fair bit heavier

I’ve toyed with the idea for a few years now, was close to getting a 6,4 f250, 3,6ton empty, only a meter longer than my Hilux but the turning circle was an extra 8meters! A lot of them have really low legal towing capacity too, normally 1500kg -2000kg for some daft reason. theres a few older 7,3 250 king cabs about that can tow 3500kg but Ive been put off by there high mileage/chipped engines/23 year old owners who rev the nuts off them from cold -

The depth is adequate for the average stump if it’s going to be lawn over the top, although not really adequate if replanting in the same spot or big stumps. It grinds far faster than the 252, and as others have said, I’d guess it drinks twice as much fuel as the Vermeer but grinds twice as fast, so you’re getting through the work quicker. you need a jerry can if doing a full day, I’d say a tank lasts about 4hours solid grinding but the gauge is shite so it might last longer! Itd be great if they made a mk2 with a few improvements @Ty Korrigan it’s efi

It is a good machine, has certainly been a step up for me from a 27hp vermeer 252. As i understand the bandit was built to be good value for money, and as such, could be better in a few areas. The Vermeer had a better quality feel about it, the 35hp 362 would be worth comparing to the Bandit ZT before decisions ar made IMO

Safety should be the reason to implement the trailer MOT, not to be like Europe. I like to think i keep my kit in good working order, yet my Ifor still failed the trailer MOT on un-even brake distribution...I thought it was good but obviously not! Then i think back to some of the trailers i used in the uk and shudder. The more trailers that get inspected, the better.

With the middle floor they're about £1100+vat, just the tray about £800+vat from work system I was lucky and got a used one, supposed to be for an amorak, but cut a bit go the frame out to fit over the hilux's wheel arches and its a near perfect fit
