  1. Thanks for the contact details, I'll give them a call tomorrow. ?
  2. I'm studying for my Level 3 diploma in Arboriculture and Forestry, and I'm keen to get my hands on some hands on experience in the industry. I don't mind what I'll be doing, whether it's shadowing a mentor, or dragging brash. You name it, I'll do it. I don't mind hard work, and I'm keen to learn (that does mean I'll be asking a lot of questions, though). Early starts are no problem for me. If you know someone in the area who is looking for a bit of help one or two days a week, let me know. Emma ETA: I have my own PPE.
  3. Thanks for your replies, everyone. I'll put my work experience with a local company first, but I think I'll sign up for German language classes. Even if Brexit doesn't work out for us, at least I can use it for travel. Plus, my classmates will be nearly ten years younger than me... It would be nice to socialise with adults when I relocate for my course! Thanks again.
  4. Hi there. I'm starting my two year course in Arb and Forestry, and like the idea of working overseas once I get my tickets. In the meantime, I fancy learning another language. I'm interested in France, Germany, or one of the Scandinavian countries. Maybe even Japan. Which of the above has the best job prospects? Emma
  5. Hi Jonny, Really sorry for the slow reply. This sounds like something I'd love to get involved with, but it might be a bit out of my way - I've decided to live on campus at Moulton. Whereabouts is your campaign, in East Anglia?
  6. Room for a little one? :D 5'0 to be precise... I'm Emma, a 20-something career changer who is due to start an extended diploma in arb and forestry at Moulton college. if you know anyone who could set me up for work experience, I'd really appreciate it! Don't be fooled - I'm not afraid of a bit of hard graft. I also weight lift, so don't worry about me stressing over the manual stuff.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
