  1. Yeah, day rate, customer picks you up on their boat, meet at the jetty at 08:00, back at the jetty 15:00, do what you can in the time on the island. cutting wedges out of a 5ft dia log with a 50cc saw will be painful and very time consuming. Remember you’ll also need to get correct PPE which will be harder to sell on after. Find someone with a 90cc saw, couple new chains, files and fuel to cut it to 30cm rings ready to split. the amount you’ll loose in kit depreciation for this one off job and excess fuel running a little saw so much will pay a hefty way towards a pro for a day, then cost in your time too and the pro works out cheaper!
  2. I thought the turbo thing was because the turbo can still be spinning at maybe 200,000RPM, turning the engine straight off results in the turbo still spinning but dry. Letting it idle first is to let the turbo loose RPM before turning the engine off and subsequently oil supply which lubes and cools the bearings. Be interesting if someone more knowledgeable can give the right answer! Try starting your machine at -10 Woodworks and try driving fast, it won't, oils too thick, all components work harder trying to force the treacle about, be kind and let the oil circulate on idle a minute or two
  3. That’s a very old can!

  18. I once worked with a guy who always had a sprinkle in his roll ups, he was envious that i didn't have any addictions, so one day set himself the challenge of going cold turkey all day. All was going well until we pulled off site at lunch time, him driving the lorry, i thought he was messing about driving on the wrong side of the road, until a car came towards us, i told him "Er, this side of the road mate" "you sure" "yes, look theres a care coming!!!" Told him to have a splif and return to normal As for tattoos, Stockholm is now believed to be home to the world's most inked population outside of tribal societies so its not a big deal here. But tattoos are generally well executed here rather than blurry cheap looking ones. Although i do think people with facial tattoos are a bit of a dick, thats just a personal opinion though
  19. I wonder if you broke into the police station if they’d bother looking into it? Sorry to hear of your visitors
  20. Cheers Steve, just gave them a mail. Cheers Mick, yeah i understand with the tow stepping, although I'm pretty sure, according to EU law, you're free to buy from who-ever you like, but that might not make that distributer too popular with the manufacture. Steves suggestion is near my family so could buy in person next month!
  21. Can anyone recommend me a helpful Ifor Williams dealer for parts? Need a new lowering solenoid, Ebay has one for another pump set-up for £40, but none for my pump fitment The Distributer for Ifor here in Sweden, i have a feeling, are trying to pull my pants down at £400 for one. (they succeeded in the past with the rear light lens - £60, compared to a complete light console inc lens for around £25 in the UK!) Thanks
