Similar things here in Sweden. Its a a race to the bottom though, cheapest price wins, “limited” to 10 company’s able to buy the details.
  2. No, but have you any pictures? Never heard of one before!
  3. This popped into my mind reading the screenshots!
  4. "Im not fat I'm just big boned" or "its glandular". . . . . . . . . . Bollocks!
  5. Cheers Jonny!
  6. Quick question, hydraulic filter change, do I remove the whole unit in the picture to gain access or try and unscrew the very top part?
  7. edit, wrong thread!
  8. A while ago i saw an Alstor for sale, with a small Farmi chipper powered off the astor's hydraulics. can't remember the model. I think, it was mounted on a very simple hook loader frame which used the crane rather than a hydraulic hook to drag the frame with chipper up, rather than lifting the entire weight of the chipper. I guess with the abundance of 2nd hand road tow chippers in the uk it'd be cheaper and easier to get an old one, mount it on a frame with wind down legs so you could drive under to load it rather than lift.
  9. Seems there’s a lot of fattys in denial on here
  10. Sometimes I think the manufactures just make things for the sake of making something!
  11. Local dealer is supplying this special build
  12. Happy birthday Darrin!
  13. Nice work!
  14. That’s what I mean though, with a post 2013 BE AND CE license you still wouldn’t be able to drive a BE registered fith wheel with a trailer over 3,5t as your E part for B vehicles is still only 3,5t....is there any way you could drive a BE fifth wheel with the “unlimited” trailer weight on a post 2013 license?
  15. I once worked with a guy who always had a sprinkle in his roll ups, he was envious that i didn't have any addictions, so one day set himself the challenge of going cold turkey all day. All was going well until we pulled off site at lunch time, him driving the lorry, i thought he was messing about driving on the wrong side of the road, until a car came towards us, i told him "Er, this side of the road mate" "you sure" "yes, look theres a care coming!!!" Told him to have a splif and return to normal As for tattoos, Stockholm is now believed to be home to the world's most inked population outside of tribal societies so its not a big deal here. But tattoos are generally well executed here rather than blurry cheap looking ones. Although i do think people with facial tattoos are a bit of a dick, thats just a personal opinion though
  16. So even with a CE license (after 2013) you still can’t drive a BE fifth wheel....is there a way you can? I’m guessing not?!
  17. I’ve been thinking about this, if you had CE, does this enable you to tow one of these fifth wheel BE rigs? As would your license not still be BE 3,5t vehicle plus 3,5t trailer. even with the CE entitlement is it not once a vehicle is registered as C that you can go over 3,5t trailer? Would you have to register the tow vehicle as a C rather than B category?
  18. I wonder if you broke into the police station if they’d bother looking into it? Sorry to hear of your visitors
  19. Cheers Steve, just gave them a mail. Cheers Mick, yeah i understand with the tow stepping, although I'm pretty sure, according to EU law, you're free to buy from who-ever you like, but that might not make that distributer too popular with the manufacture. Steves suggestion is near my family so could buy in person next month!
  20. Can anyone recommend me a helpful Ifor Williams dealer for parts? Need a new lowering solenoid, Ebay has one for another pump set-up for £40, but none for my pump fitment The Distributer for Ifor here in Sweden, i have a feeling, are trying to pull my pants down at £400 for one. (they succeeded in the past with the rear light lens - £60, compared to a complete light console inc lens for around £25 in the UK!) Thanks
  21. Mine used to happily sit at 80mph diddnt like hills much much but still great trucks
  22. The mk3’s are awesome trucks, so simple, super tough and reliable yet cruises at 80
  23. Shavings, but if people are like me, i don't read stuff on boxes and would open it up inside Or just give people the option when ordering: Eco packaging £0 Bubble wrap £2,50
  24. Only ever seen mini forwarders on tri axle trailers over here not towed the alstor which is more similar to your machine, but the kranman on this westbay tri axle tows amazingly well, small wheels and easy to forget the trailers there
  25. 2015 Hilux 3.0 auto 28-30mpg (not towing) 2014 Caddy 1.6d manual, 50mpg mixed roads 60mpg if avoiding motorway speeds (calm driving figures!)
