  1. From what I gather it has everything to do with what(the manufactures not the dealers) think they can get away with, bugger all to do with volume of sales etc etc. I base the above on what ive been told about products that arent arb related, but I guess it doesnt really matter what the product is.
  2. I tried tying a VT yesterday on a hitch climber and failed miserably even with a printout in front of me! I tried and gave up and went back to a prussik quite awhile ago but think I will persevere this time. But, I think I will give the Knut a try this time. Im more of a cnut of a climber anyway.
  3. Excellent news. Good to see it worked out good for you in the end. He sounded like a right miserable sod.
  4. What happens if he goes to pick the logs up and there isn't a trailer full? You know it will happen. Another big can of worms opened and a load more grief. Just cash the cheque and cross him off your list.
  5. The last thing I would do is go and pick them up, that's just more work for nothing and he will still complain to his neighbours about it. As long as you supplied exactly what you said you would then I wouldn't worry about it whatsoever. This is probably one in a million compared to all of the satisfied customers you have.
  6. You will probably find that if you follow ALL of the HSE rules your boss will bankrupt in no time but then again that wouldn't matter as you wouldn't make it out of the yard in the morning! If you can already do the job why the need for the ticket? Tbh though, and no offence if employees start mentioning HSE, duty of care etc they probably won't be around for long. Unless it's a really bad unsafe place to work but then you wouldn't be there I guess.
  7. Sounds like the best option is to just read the little pamphlet you get in a 1st aid kit. So I need to throw the celox away and buy a Defibrillator. At least these have an offer on. (M0703A): Heartstart Defibrillator FR2 (without ECG) KIT - L. E. West Ltd Just got to wait for some more stock.
  8. First thing I would check is that the carb isnt being jammed open. Then as mentioned an air leak, but with no throttle response at all I think its probably a jammed carb.
  9. Excellent job. Surprised it didnt rip the cable off the wall though!
  10. Isnt that bad for the engine though? I always thought that 2 strokes dont like to be left on tickover as it starves them of oil. Plus I would imagine that its even worse these days as they run so lean for emission control etc.
  11. Mesterh

    Free range?

An whats wrong with that!? Mmmmmmm I assume from the posts that organic is really the only/best option in regards to the health of the birds?
  12. Is this a tale of someone with no imagination? They are way better things to do with your time if you had the money.
  13. Just buy a pair of SIP progrees type A. They are comfy, way less hot than hiflex and last way longer than anything ive ever bought. Plus they dont cost £200+
  14. Do you have a link to the online form you fill in?
  15. Yes total garbage, along with American idol, Britains got talent, the ballroom one, the ice skating one, that opera one,the model ones plus im sure there are more singing ones and loads more dancing ones.Oh and Big brother:thumbdown: The naughties has a lot to answer for with the crap TV its pumped out.
  16. Quite brilliant.
  17. R.I.P You cant deny he has made a huge difference in our modern day.
  18. I understand that your sure it was a straight fell but you say you were stopping the traffic earlier so why not stop it at the fell? Some risks just arent worth taking and it wasnt 100% your way. TBH if I saw someone doing that I would jump in and stop the traffic.
  19. A lot of people have no respect for the living let alone the dead. Why people think its ok to take their dog to the park to have have a crap and run around off the lead is beyond me, never mind doing the same on the streets. Plus I never see them them with a bucket and sponge when their dog pees against someones wall! Plus I also hate it when you go to price a job and the customer thinks its ok for their dog to jump all over you and sniff your cock! Im very particular on what sniffs my cock thank you very much!
  20. Isnt that just the rev limiter cutting in? You have quite a few cameras on you there. I would be careful they add 10 pounds I hear. Obviusoly the fell went well but have you ever tried using a bottle jack on back learners? They work well and are way better than using wedges, plus they are easier on the back.
  21. Yes well done indeed Mr Plod, well done for doing the job we pay you to do. JK, good to hear she got her bike back. Having your possessions stolen can be a truly heartbreaking experience no matter what they are or who steals them.
  22. Well only got to 8. But, in my defence I have just eaten a large 1955 burger meal with wedges, 6 nuggets, apple pie, cappacino and two beers. Or, im not very fit but I very much doubt that.
  23. Move back to Dorset!:001_tongue:JK I think thats just the way of the world and proves the differences from region to region. Dont forget everyone is happy with different wages and different profits. It is all good and well to say stick to your prices but if your not winning any work then!!!
  24. OK I got it wrong there, put the chainbrake ON, this knocks the energy out of the spring. You will have to sort of partially put the brake off when you refit the plastic cover IIRC to get it to fit.
