  1. Im sure that that most of them do but you know people and people can sometimes be reckless. You can purchase a brand new crab and gum it up to death on the first climb on a sticky grand fir. Or just leave it in the bottom of a wet kit bag for a month. Resilience while using the gear appropriately. On the corolla thing, yeah it might still work but tbh it might not be performing as it should, if you didnt change the oil or at least top it up then I reckon it would soon be toast. If it isnt toast then its lifespan will have gone down hill fairly fast, faster than a fat man rolling down a rally fat hill, really, really very fast. Change the oil on your Corolla mate.
  2. Only if you maintain it properly.
  3. Ive never came across this scenario before but then Ive only ever worked for people that I have previously known. Although I have to pay tradesmen x amount up front before starting building work to part cover the cost of material etc. TBH I suppose it isnt a bad idea to at least charge a percentage as AHHHHP mentioned.
  4. I agree with that. You will probably struggle to get permission due to health and safety etc. No one is really going to grant permission to go and climb as they would get sued to death if something bad happened. I did a bit of rec climbing in the local woods while training in college, just make sure you have someone to spot you at the very least.
  5. I was never into his music but he was a funny fcker and a right bit of a character. RIP
  6. Im fairly sure that you dont run this site, control this thread or are an admin, so I think that I might stay around a bit longer thank you.

  8. Sandstone buried in timber is known to attract brand new 36" chains. Pointless trying to sharpen them, straight in the bin.
  9. Fair enough. Just because we have zero capacity to change things in other countries shouldn't stop us from having opinions on how that country is run though, especially when it can have a direct impact on us.
  10. They can get to about 20 feet so not massive but they also have a decent spread. Just keep pruning it back. My parents have a few that they just hack back every now and again none have died yet.
  11. Why should I! You asked that question not me. Im asking you who relentlessly attacks, day in day out, those who oppose trump why arent you there? Its not like you even have to disagree with trumps views, he just talks so much unbelievable shite I just find it comical. Its not political shite where they fudge an answer to a question its just utter bollocks, you should watch some of his interviews, they are comedy gold. You relentlessly attack the UK government, day in day day out, why aren't you in Westminster telling the gov what you think? A government that UK people democratically voted for blah blah blah blah blah Anyway, bait post replied to in full for tonight.
  12. Enjoy the family time. There's also going to be people there that will not be nice to him, you're missing a big opportunity to shout them down.
  13. Looks like the trump supporters are on their way to meet him. Are you going? Donald Trump visit LIVE: Exact time President will arrive in Scotland revealed - Mirror Online WWW.MIRROR.CO.UK Donald Trump is set to land in Scotland this evening for a five-day trip to the UK - he will visit two of his golf courses and meet with Sir Keir Starmer

  15. My spelling is never that clever.,.me grammer. is badly worser tho. Tbh I would have thought that you would be there like a shot to batter down anyone who has a bad word to say about trump but I guess your, ahem, youre too busy camping out at No 10 telling starmer that he's a cock between visits to dover telling people to go home judging by your traffic across numerous threads. On a serious note it will be interesting to see what kind of welcome he receives and his speech about it when he gets back home.
  16. I dont think that you really though that through before posting it!
  17. Dunno about the solar panel thing. The only experience I have of solar panels is that my parents had it fitted years ago and they hardy get any money back from it. Its broken a couple of times and each time it seems to cost a grand to sort it out which wipes out any savings that they have made over the previous years. They are old and probably being fleeced but that's not my problem
  18. Thats gotta be fake. There's no contactless card payment!
  19. One of my mates who worked in the water industry banged on about that a bit. Surely new build houses could have some system that uses rain water, waste water from the shower sink etc to fill up the toilet.

  22. What are people doing with strawberries in regards to keeping them for next year? Lots of mine didn't produce fruit this year and usually I just let them die and buy new ones the year after. My ones are normally in hanging baskets or strawberry planters ie not grown in the ground.
  23. I woulda gone Waitrose or B/M Top dollar or bottom of the barrel, anything else is just chav IMO.
  24. The NHS will always be on its knees, if it wasnt its budget would be cut prompto. It will always be begging for money thats how these organisations work. You will never see a private hospital saying its struggling and the patients are being strewn out in asda trolleys in the car park and left to fend off malicious seagulls. I reckon a scramferiously amount of money is wasted by old people just wanting a chat with their GP and pissed up fckers sucking up the A an E on a fri/sat night.
