  1. You would never reach a conclusion if you didn't rule things out though. Or, you would never reach a conclusion if you took everything into account. ADHD possibly caused from the increase in air travel for instance, or caused by the increase in the spread of Japanese knotweed. I know for a fact the first one will hold water with chemtrail believers
  2. It sounds like you know a fair bit about it. I only know what I've read about it and that obvioulsy depends on what the news is reporting and how they interpret it. I read that the black box said the switches (the ones in the cockpit) had been moved from on to off then back onto on again but that could be the news reporter getting it wrong I suppose. If it was a mechanical or software issue then yeah hopefully they will get to the bottom of it ASAP as there are a lot of 787's about!
  3. Have you seen the working class?!
  4. Yes click bait. They arent going to hike up your bills just because the weather got hot from what i can see. The problem with all these headlines is that they dont provide a direct link to the article/direct source, they just give you a little snippet that sucks people in. Yeah I wouldn't trust them to try it on either as we, OK apart from you and those that have a well are a captive audience although I know thats not the correct term but I cant think of the correct one! dont have a choice. From what I can read a family of four usually uses 16 baths of water a day, if you use 18 baths of water in a day in a dry season then you will pay more per cubic metre above that. Its hardly what the headlines state. So a big nothing burger unless you are filling up the family pool everyday. They can get to fook though as they have mismanaged the water network for years and still get there directors bonuses from what I read.
  5. Hot, like proper hot.
  6. From what I read it said the switches where moved from on to off which only means one of two scenarios, a very major hugmounous human error or a deliberate act. Either way a lot of people died due to an idiot. Tbh I'm surprised that automation/ai hasn't taken more of a roll in the aviation industry.
  7. Wordle 1,484 5/6 ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟩🟨⬜ ⬜🟨🟩⬜🟩 ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  8. They did They did, well they thought that they did. They did
  9. Yeah it's just click bait so nothing to worry about. Like all these articles there is a snippet of truth in it but they don't tell you you the whole story.
  10. Yeah I read that bit, someone switched the engines off though. It looked like they got one engine running but too little too late.
  11. Thanks. I was looking for the actual evidence/links to the source but it looks like the telegraph isn't giving that info out. There's no way that they could just increase prices only due to a water shortage. Water shortage in this area, everyone's water costs are going up! Yeah. It's just click bait imo.
  12. Can you screenshot the article as it's behind a pay wall and I can't see it on any other news feeds?
  13. Fuel to engines of Air India plane that crashed cut off moments after take-off, report finds NEWS.SKY.COM There was also confusion in the cockpit. In the voice recording, one of the pilots... I would have thought that it shouldn't be that easy to just shut the fuel off manually! I know they have to if an engine catches fire but with modern tech the computer should go 'err what, no fires no alarms going off 100 feet above the ground and you want to shut the engines down.' Suicide I guess as no terrorist organisation has claimed responsibility. Tragic loss of life.
  14. I thought I saw a post in here mention different versions of wordle, I might be wrong though.
  15. Has anyone bothered to try 6 or 7 letter wordles?

  17. Ignore him, it was just a ranty post that meant nothing.

  20. Wordle 1,478 X/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ 🟩⬜⬜🟩⬜ 🟩⬜🟨🟩⬜ 🟩⬜🟨🟩⬜ 🟩⬜🟨🟩⬜ 🟩⬜🟨🟩⬜ I just gave up and I'm glad I did as thats not even a bleeding word! A sneaky clue, its not again.
  21. Ha yeah, concealed weapons and major trauma, it's no wonder that they ended up in those professions!
  22. I'll say no. Imagine that Starmer announced tomorrow that they are going to privatise the NHS, standing ovation from a certain group of people, and then he says the Chinese government have stepped in to control and oversee the whole thing. Your energy network, and basic necessities , water etc, transport infrastructure and health service is all controlled by foreign companies. Happy days.
  23. Yeah, it was never a dull day at their house! The lads did good though, one a paramedic and the other in the police force, CID. Ive not seen then for probably 30 years, time flys.
  24. A little too late IMO, or its just all a sham or should i say an elaborate ruse. On the plus side at least he saved 2 trillion dollars by firing a lot of people that they then had to rehire and pay hem back pay.
  25. He didnt as I sort of misread it, my bad, big apologise, hang my head in shame etc, etc, But, the NHS does do after care very well which is what SP was referring to, the private sector don't want that as that costs sh1t loads of money. So, quite a lot of people get say the initial cancer treatment privately then are hoofed back to the NHS for the after care. Happened to my mates mum 40 years ago BUPA ****************ed up and the NHS had to fix her up. She was a nutcase btw and stabbed her son/my mate in the leg with a sword hidden in her walking cane which was a bit of a surprise to say the least! She also bought a ninja throwing star and herled (SP) it down the stairs at his twin brother. Council estates, arent they brilliant! How about if you are in full time employment you can opt out of paying NI so you cant whinge about the NHS but you have to pay for every bit of health care whether its through private insurance or out of your back pocket for the rest of your life? Car crash, boating accident, cliff climbing accident on a Sunday in your shorts and flip flops rescued by the NHS you or your insurance foot the bill.
