The I guess that its very complicated situation , but its a bit of a let down when you consider that they cant send another space craft up there to get them home,ASAP. I hope they have scrabble or at least connect 4 to keep them occupied.

Hedge / tree removal after nesting season.

This. Get a price from a local tree firm to carry out the cutting and removal. Ive been to jobs where the customer has cut 'stuff' down and made a right mess, it was more expensive than us doing the job from the start. It may be a different kettle of fish if its roadside and someone can come along with a big chipper and a grab. A small tree can be a nightmare to drag out if its been stacked for a bonfire and the timber thrown on top! -

I thought it was clutching at straws hoping that they were in an air pocket! I suppose while theres hope its worth giving it a go. I very nearly drowned once and that was in warm calm waters in the middle of the day, it was terrifying. I feel for those poor buggers as it must have been horrendous.

They are still holding out hope that the remaining missing people are trapped in an air pocket. The last bit I read in yesterday's news, maybe it's just a recovery mission now.

The internet is at your finger tips, they dont have to claim asylum in the first safe country they come to, its part of some international agreement/treaty. I agree that most or maybe a lot of people are falsely claiming asylum, they should be sent back to where they came from and the country that they 'fled' from should have to pay some kind of penalty or fine to the UK to cover the cost. You've mentioned plenty of times that the UK/US illegally invaded Iraq, should only the neighbouring countries have to deal with the fallout and us being an island and the US being a trillion miles away can just go HA, tough. Yes, illegals and false claims tough, no entry, genuine cases OK maybe as long as we are only taking our fair share.
