  2. I've had many ticks over the years as have my dogs, I have a reasonably bad reaction to them, usually a very itchy lump about the size of 1/2 a golf ball which can take around a month to completely subside. Probably more than 10 years ago after a particularly bad reaction to a tick just above my c*ck I went to a busy multiple GP practice in the NW of Glasgow and asked for a Lyme test.... I was surprised to find out that they had never done this before and I knew far more about Lyme than the experienced GP did although this practice is less than 1/2 a mile from a wild park which deer inhabit. When I asked where they would send my blood to be tested The GP didn't know, although I had already done my own research and had found that German labs had the best results as the OP mentioned.. but mine sample was sent to somewhere in Ayrshire and came back negative.. I'm not surprised by any of this as the deeper I dig the more ignorance I discover. I spend most of my time in the NW Highlands where we are inundated with tourists from all around the world, and I've often wondered how many of them go home after a short holiday and a lot of masking of other insects by midgie bites to find that after a while they have an undiagnosed life changing illness where no one can join the dots.

  4. Just to be on the safe side you should say president Trump is an orange buffoon, or better still a rapist, kier starmer on the other hand is an honest politician with the countries best interest at heart, and anyone who disagrees with you should be cast out into hell, don't answer any questions about coal, chainsaws, and on no account like anything unless its posted by labour fans. other than that it's plain sailing to endless fun and employment. good luck and welcome John Smith.

  7. I just spotted my mistake Stubby, the badge was 3120xp, but it seemed somehow less solidly built than my old 2101, to be honest I just couldn't bring myself with the coin for something that didn't really win me over, most of my old saws felt "right " as soon as I held them in some cases, and usually confirmed as soon as I tried them in wood.
  8. I wonder if it would come within scope of woodworking machinery, but in the end it's going to need a RAMS whatever you do.
  9. Up here for thinking, down there for dancing.....
  10. Courant Kalimba is nice.

    Lidl 53cc saw

Yes ish. I had the top end 18v one, which is probably a lot of the same parts as your 40v one.
  12. yup, it was somewhat windy in sunny Yorkshire today😀 Calmed down a bit now, and gone back to beeing muggy. Nice job though, some decent kit there.
  13. I have 2x Ford coilpacks mounted on the front of the engine, a blank where the distributor was, crank sensor & trigger wheel on the pulley and the ECU is inside the car.
  14. p.s. I have an 8x5 with cage sides too. Scaffolding debris net and those tie-on bungees and then a few smaller 750kg straps.
  15. After a very long break from riding i got myself a new toy earlier in the year. Been loving the weather this year too.
  16. Morning lads quite late but sticking in there Stay safe
  17. It could just be heat stress. I've seen Rowans do this and it looks very exposed. Any live buds at the tips? If so it may come back ok, next year if not this to some extent.

  20. I was quoted 4k for my hilux and sprinter van this year by trust. Shopped around and Aviva came in at 1400. Managed to talk trust down to match but went with Aviva anyway because trust were ripping the piss.
  21. The Mityvac is most saw techs go to pressure/vac tester.
  22. Well, a famous victory. If there’s one trait that Stokes has that seems to be reflected in his team, it’s that they never give up.
  23. I am not trying to be smug here, but if you have your own (decent) mewp, would it not make sense to use it? It is understandably easy to argue something is ok to climb if using a mewp involves the hassle of hiring in. I don't worry about idiots in cars etc hitting my mewp's legs when it is on the road. I quote the customer for proper traffic management, and shield the mewp with other vehicles/chipper etc. If customer isn't happy with the cost of this they can get someone else in.
  24. The Zulus has got LRF as well as inbuilt ballistics calculator. A lot of tech for the price. Does take a bit of the fun out of it though.

    Chickens?

always gets me how fast they feather up. Then it'll be mini roadrunners trying to fly. Superb stuff.
  26. Hi Frank. Tick all boxes that contain traffic lights.
