  1. This is where a couple of cheaper Rotatech chains come in. Had very similar the other month when my dad wanted some remains of his old hedge lobbing off at ground level, and an old holly bush stump cutting up that he had also apparently washed off. Chains well dulled now, probably only fit for bin, but will attempt to resharpen (still learning the knack) but no loss really as bought for a purpose.
  2. I sprayed everything with glyphosate when i bought my pad in late 2012, by time i had battered all work in house, moved out of caravan and in to house 10 months later, it had basically done its job and rid of everything giving me a clean slate. Didnt know what SSSI was till Edward C and yourself explained. All governing bodies are bloody hard work and make things chuffing hard work to sort out things that could be relatively quicker and easier! [emoji849][emoji849]
  3. That was my initial thoughts, they’ll very happily eat all in sight but you’ll still probably get regrowth.
  4. Whats reasons for avoiding glyphosate?
  5. Just about nailed everything there that i can see coming when my dad passes. I’d happily walk away with nothing me for an easy life, but can see the arguments and excuses from the vultures lining up already [emoji849][emoji849]
  6. Stop your whining Agnes..... just had a ride through Trough today, you need to get back to your day job rapid! Bloody Rhodies everywhere, never seen as many on a journey! ?
  7. Ya wont find out if ya sell it! [emoji6]
  8. I’m proud of my failed upbringing Eggs, that clown won’t be educating on me on nowt i’m afraid! I’m happy with my “No G” phone! [emoji16]
  9. Thank frig for that!!! It’ll slow down the amount of youtube posts you can upload to bore us with!!!
  10. It’ll be a dvla contact for you i rekon, if you’ve got the vin number and can prove you own the tractors, then they should be able to assign you with the original reg (if legit and registered) and or an appropriate year dated reg.
  11. Avin a gangbang..... boom boom! ?
  12. I can hear the echo’s Stubby...... i think it sounds like “sorry” [emoji16]
  13. Get some pics up, show off ya work, the next search may bring you more work cos of it! And we’re all nosey and just wana see what you’ve done [emoji39][emoji2]
  14. Cracking action picture, shame its a little dark as it doesnt highlight the saw / model / stihl colours, potential winner there tho!
  15. We have gas central heating, had a burner fit a couple of years ago, house is mega insulated and we’ve not really had central heating on since installing the burner. For me its the enjoyment of getting the chainsaw out, swinging the axe etc, keeps me healthy, keeps a smile on the mrs face as she watches the rolling flames, and she thinks shes saving on gas [emoji6][emoji2] i can see though to make a living as said above by a lot, big investment would be needed to create volume and profit.
  16. You did well getting him out the house Saul, hes usually tied to the kettle and his hoover! ?
  17. https://www.chainsawbars.co.uk/product/g1012xt-granberg-precision-grinder-expected-8th-june-available-to-backorder/ Buy a set of diamond stones though, information on them towards bottom of page.
  18. Be going for the cost of it to you from new to start with. Failing that if your struggling to recoup then i’d be trying for top book price at least but in cash, not a 2nd hand saw, least then you can decide on a new purchase and top up, or choose your own 2nd hand saw.
  19. Local to me firm, had a few bits off them and a mate of mine buys a fair bit off him, nearly all stuff is chinese like ya say but to be honest theyre good enough for the money i rekon.

    Birds/Nests

Swallows are mega late this year at work. Got two white crows kicking around this year too, only spotted one last year.
  21. Rent a portion of a farmer friends field/building? get more shipping containers and arrange them to suit your needs and even act as a security scenario when you lay them out. Stack em on top of each other if ya need. If a power supply is an issue then a generator housed in another shipping container could be an option.
  22. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] kin quality!
  23. [emoji847]??

    Birds/Nests

Must be 30 - 40 swallows in at work now, nearly take your head off in corridors, they’ll be nesting in rafters again no doubt! Will post some pics when i see em and get chance.
