  1. Every now and then i come across unwanted tins of sprays and general ideal for use at home stuff, penetrating oil, glass cleaner, dash dandy, spray grease etc, so this silly OLD bloke i know mentioned he had a little project he was going to start on in his man shed. The tasks he has lined up include generally cleaning up this new toy of his, removing some wheels, bit of patchwork to do etc. So i thought..... i know, i’ll off load some of my collected/unwanted tins to the OLD boy [emoji6] he was made up with his selection of products and in return handed me a big bag of potatoes [emoji106] what a good do, so tonight i have made myself some chips and flash fried 2x left over lamb leg steaks in the pan[emoji108][emoji39]
  2. They need their hands to become dysfunctional, that’ll cure em.
  3. Not like you to not take stock of an OP’s request/question and try to swing things your way. Sure he said 100mm - 150mm preferably [emoji848][emoji849]
  4. Recently found out from the other 044 cylinder thread, that it appears i have acquired a 10mm version 044, bought it off a guy for £60. It runs apparently but he just quoted it as “knackered” not done any testing or checks, just put it under bench with my others ready for when i get my garage finished. I’ve bought a shed load of genuine 046/460 bits but not acquired one yet. From all the reading up i’ve done and listenings to others, it comes across as being one of the all time good ens back in its day. The 461 appears to be more favoured against the 462. I like the older saws personally for their better feel and build quality compared to the newer stuff.
  5. Would you rate 461 above the 460?
  6. Draw us a picture..... i’ll grab ya some slate! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji39]
  7. As described in blue smoke literature. Be a storage fault or valve/stem seal/cylinder gasket issue at a guess.

  12. Been hard going today at work, temps got as high as 30 indoors and very stagnant, wearing overalls and taking wheels off/on on new vehicles i’ve been PDI’ing, made the manly areas very sticky and unpleasant, resulted in a few trips to the mens room for a quick courtesy wipe! ?[emoji2]

  17. Hear this a lot with their reviews. Only ever ordered rotatech chains off them but through ebay, i’ve personally not had any issues buying this way. Think your doing right SG ordering from elsewhere, might be more expensive in the short term but will save in the long term as more reliable for you and less loss of time and business. [emoji106]
  18. Do “Saturn machines knives” not own ‘northern arb’ as in a subsidiary of their primary business.

  21. Like i mentioned to the lad in Leeds, might be a drop in the ocean but can keep my eyes open on local forums and sale sites etc, local auction/market etc, we’re next valley over to you boys if you think about it, so may be possible for things to show up. Can PM me some more specifics if you think it may help. Let spuddog know too, the old fossil has plenty contacts up and down too, shitty news though. Hope he gets an outcome! [emoji106]
