  2. Looks quite labour intensive even with the mechanical aids [emoji106]
  3. Go on then.... back on ya boat sailor! ?
  4. Same as skyhuck suggests! Being from farming background, used to get offered “luck money” on sale of a cow / sheep etc at auction! Think those times have faded though! [emoji849][emoji849]
  5. [emoji848][emoji848][emoji848].........[emoji6][emoji106][emoji108][emoji23]

    Work

Wrong thread ya senile old grunt [emoji6]
  8. Hey Roys, ring L&S Engineers, i know they say out of stock on the internet site/pages, but quite often i have still put things to basket and proceeded to checkout/payment or simply just rung them and they do actually have stock, not always but majority of time. Worth a call [emoji106]
  9. Currently with “one call insurance” not for arb work, just personal use but its obviously a commercial policy being a van. Before that Hastings insurance, before that Budget insurance, before that Axa insurance and before that i forgets!!!.... [emoji848] keep trying, you’ll find something. Would avoid Transits personally but each and to their own. Surprised NFU couldnt quote reasonable for ya.
  10. I was with axa a few years ago and they mirrored my ncb from my car policy.
  11. Makita Cylinder HTB7600 - BB480860 | Makita Parts WWW.LSENGINEERS.CO.UK Cylinder HTB7600.Genuine Makita Part.OEM Number. BB480860. Genuine cylinder if you struggle to resurrect the original but think price will put you off!
  12. Makita Piston HTB7600 - BB480890 | Makita Parts WWW.LSENGINEERS.CO.UK Piston HTB7600.Genuine Makita Part.OEM Number. BB480890.
  13. Not on bookface or instantgran ? not my sort of thing. We’ll just have to rely on Steve to post more of em on here [emoji51][emoji106]
  14. Was my mechanical side in me taking over, can see how it would help and to be fair, working at such a height with such forces.... its all about safety at end of the day! [emoji106][emoji106] good watch. You/Steve should post more!
  15. That an original makita cylinder and piston? If so, cylinder may clean up and be salvageable, try your best as you wont beat OEM parts. Piston wants binning, replace it with a Meteor one, or another OEM, obviously the book stops with you on how much you want to spend. Or put a full Meteor top end on if cylinder is not reusable. Check your crank is ok too, replace the little end if you can. Then most importantly, diagnose what has caused your issue in the first place. I’m not familiar with Makita stuff, or common faults, others may be along to advise tho. [emoji106]
  16. Why the v shaped cuts guys? I’m guessing it aids in keeping control of the limbs, stops them from moving around and obviously gives the crane driver those extra few seconds grace to see you get clear after making the cut before he operates and moves on the controls?
  17. Nice, love the brew tin at 1min 26secs in [emoji108]
  18. I had em down as inuits or malumits, [emoji106] bonny pair!!
  19. Dont break yourself Conor!! Family first! (Loose term to some, so i’ll rephrase slightly and say.... immediate family first!) work 2nd!! [emoji106]
  20. Lad i work with used to work at local Mercedes dealer near us in Blackburn, apparently they used to fit new engines to the ambulances every 2 or 3 yrs?!! [emoji848] (cant remember for sure, shall ask him tomoz at work) so regardless of mileage on your dash, it may even of had a new work horse fitted! [emoji15][emoji6] all part of reliability and maintenance programme.... [emoji108]not to be sniffed at if thats the case. Only downside to a Merc is the bodywork really, but if ya catch it early enough and get a reight job done, then jobs reight! Dont forget to post your progress pics [emoji6][emoji106][emoji106]
  21. Afternoon job then! [emoji6]?
  22. Snap!!! ? back to the daytime graft tomoz for a rest after my week off! Look forward to it if you get chance [emoji106]
  23. Cracking scenery! [emoji108] and even better with a river/waterfall in the mix! We got rivers round here but lacking in the waterfalls department unless your willing to take a car journey.
  24. Honey bees! A worthy subject for all to know i rekon?! Start a new thread about it Conor?! [emoji6][emoji849]
  25. Bet they’re loyal to the hilt! Great looking pair. Looking quite sleepy though, what age are they Mark 9-10?
