  1. “Quicksteel plastic tank repair kit” used it a few times at work on some plant machines, still going strong.
  2. Started watching season 1 again as some at work has said it holds all the clues/answers to the run up for the big finale! Imp is quality and Jon Snow is feckin aard!
  3. Wants book throwing at him! Had a wealthy prick near us fell a group of trees because they were “in the way of where he wanted to build his wall and they would spoil his view” Just paid his fine and all was forgotten. Bellend! Its wrong!
  4. Spuds nailed your request here. But for future if needed things and if you dont mind 2nd hand, have a look for ‘aladins-other-cave’ on ebay. Really good to deal with and very accommodating, will try to source if need be! [emoji106]
  5. ........................[emoji848]..................NO!
  6. Would assume its not all that easy! Think Steve had a large headache sorting the tip site directory out! So cant see a milling directory being a lot different and prob not really fair to try and promote it on here without a lot off back up???
  7. Oohhh..... ??? go on lad! [emoji51]
  8. He lays on his settee with a rake of blankets over him for warmth! Thats living off grid Rough..... God did ya not know! [emoji849][emoji849][emoji849]
  9. Or Ronseal?! Does...... ?
  10. Tyreman at work pulling his hair out just of late trying to source tyres. Hes been in the game for over 35 yrs now and has a LOT of contacts, but struggling like hell for decent stuff such as bridgestone, michelin, hankook etc. A lot of manufacturers are now selling ‘brand new’ tyres that are actually manufactured on old casings. They x-ray/scan the casings for defects and if they are ‘ok’ they re-rubber them and knock em out again. Gone are the days when we used to worry about remoulds eh! ?
  11. Huge demand for rubber these days, and tyres are getting harder to get hold of, marketing and manufacturing prices have shoved a lot of work abroad..... yeah you guessed it, out to china! The rubber plant isn’t as generous as it used to be with climate change. So all the excuses are coming out the woodwork now..... less tread for noise pollution regs, less tread for fuel efficiency, less tread for accommodating different compounds, less tread for more stability [emoji849]? and on the back of it all as usual!!... a cheaper product that doesnt last as long as it did or should, along with a dearer price tag.
  12. You’ve painted an image in my head of a lazy fat bastard gardener now!!! Is this you???!!!
  13. My batteries are fading fast!..... [emoji849][emoji30][emoji42] Vesp, what does “effeminacy” mean?
  14. Clays and soils etc will add to the drying out of your sidewalls and promote early perishing. A good clean once in a while and spraying them with something silicone based will help, just puts a little suppleness back in to the rubber and is non harmful to the rubber also.
  15. I dont think not washing and becoming smelly and stained counts as being “green” Vesp! Me thinks your on a loser her..... do concede, its the only true outcome. [emoji4]
  16. Vesp my old tatey.... i have to say that your wrong! (Before you start with ‘the facts’ quoted from google shat!..... you contradict yaself. Listen up mucker, i’ll say it only once and shan’t repeat! You say battery will never replace petrol..... blah blah blah!......... Not true!!!! Battery may not replace petrol in a full days stamina test, (yet!) i.e felling 100ft trees with a 3 foot girth etc! But battery will more than out weigh a small tree fell and pruning exercise to the everyday gardener, like yourself! [emoji6][emoji4] (with benefits such as noise, pollution, operator ease etc) to rule out battery in every scenario as you have portrayed is not correct. Give your head a wobble and start looking at it from both points of view please! [emoji6][emoji106]
  17. Your fucking hard though and even a chainsaw through your leg makes you smile! [emoji15][emoji123]?
  18. What age did you anticipate the tree to be Steve? And as for still being in a ‘compromising’ situation, what life expectancy do you give the tree according to your findings. I find this technology quite fascinating and intriguing.
