  1. Plenty pics of yaprojects when youve got em done, dont be shy [emoji2]
  2. You insetting it in to brickwork as a load bearing mantle or just face fitting against wall for aesthetics? I pondered the wood mantle route when i built mine, but decided it was too much hassle as i would struggle to fit one due to clearance / proximity of my flue in relation to beam regards regs / insurance etc. And finding one that was aesthetically spot on like you say was a challenge in itself. I used an old stone gate post in the end and had it cut down, same for my hearth. Possibly another option for you.
  3. I got plenty long time awaiting jobs, we wont be the only ones ?
  4. You’ve another three years again i rekon eggs before you need to worry about kevs ongoing project [emoji39]
  5. I’m not fully up on land rovers but i had a similar issue on a van, it had a load compensating valve on the rear which obviously gave more effort when load was increased, seized up on its pivots, the valve itself was ok.
  6. Yep, YOU, cos you are the EGGLETT daddy!!! ?
  7. Do they have a compensator valve? Could be partially seized if they do, cos i wouldnt av thought you should be spanking pads at that rate!
  8. Sorry for ya loss Mark, utterly shocked!!! Not really a lot i can say apart from whats been said above. Treasure the memories.
  9. I’d weigh up the weight of the crane against what the actual legal carrying weight is of your transit, then subtract it to see what payload you have left. I think you’ll use a fair bit of it up which could limit you a lot on what you could carry & tow.

  17. Ah bless, i cant play the fiddle and i aint religious tho. ?
  18. “IF” everything quoted in the first statement rings true, then it can be argued from both sides / points of view, that it was the right / wrong thing to do. But the swaying factor that suggests Vesp was wrong to try and create an argument out of it, is down to him stating “conifer” hedge, and not just “hedge”??? In all honesty though as stated above, i’d of trimmed it all flush regardless of extra breeds being in there.
  19. Get Vesp in as your apprentice [emoji6] he wants extra human company, learn more and be a step up from ‘gardening’, his muscles need strengthening! [emoji23]
  20. I’d defo say the latter! I shovelled and wheelbarrowed 7 1/2 tonne of stone and shifted 7 pallets of 4” block this last week! On top of my day job! Your weak in the body as well as your head!!! Face it Vesp, you dont even deserve the title of “gardener” after what you’ve spouted and informed people of this alleged job, go join the W.I.
