  1. No ad breaks in movies on Sky.
  2. When we have a fire no one but me puts anything on till I say so, just so there's no one to blame but me when/if it goes out after a bit.
  3. It's a difficult art, don't go too nuts with a blower, you'll just blow the heart out of it. Bring dry wood with you to get it going. Or a tyre!
  4. Use the search button on Facebook, it's still active on t'internet.
  5. One attractive female client told me her pussy was throbbing and aching for some action. Which was strange because I didn't see a cat anywhere. We laughed about that on the way home!
  6. Yes, it has to be judged on a case by case basis. Where you were in relation to transport, and how many vans were on the job? What was the emergency? Was the guy leaving a key worker? Did the crew involve you in the discussion about whether to all go home?
  7. Very resilient to hard pruning. Always come back strongly.
  8. Where do they have trailer MOTs? Out of curiosity, none in France.
  9. Won't do any harm and may well prevent dispersion.
  10. We're in a free market economy, you get what you're worth.
  11. Am I missing something? They're hardly likely to keep an aperture of 190 on the updated chipper, that would be smaller than the 230.
  12. I've brought chippers, grinders and tractors back and forth, never had an issue. The stolen gear is moved in containers anyway I reckon.
  13. No it said (along the lines of) tree climbing is a real skill. Then this climber only managed to emerge unscathed thank to good gear and quick reflexes. Which is comical really.
  14. I know very little (natch!) but I would have thought concentrating on you machinist qualifications would be the best route.
  15. Notice the saw going for a flight? Wonder what sort of tool lanyard he had?
  16. [ame] [/ame] You'll like this.....
  17. That's a nice number (horse power wise)
  18. Nice, what hp is the tractor?
  19. Or care, as treequip said. Nor should they. I have little idea what my plumber or the mechanic in the garage does, I just want hot water and a car that works.
  20. I'm not talking about companies I'm talking about the money that individual climbers get from employers, large or small. There's still a decent living to be made, but only working for yourself.
  21. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/large-equipment/13123-wee-chipper-club.html Hi Charlie. Use the search function there's a multitude of threads about them. The above is just one.
