  1. I get a tug over here every few years, I get the impression they’re quite impressed with it’s Dead Sea scroll vibe! I say to them that I spend half my time in the UK half in France. They tell me I have to change it, I agree, then we go our separate ways.
  2. This is why I keep my paper license over here.
  3. Bit beyond me to do that tbh. We have a brilliant Hydraulic shop in the nearby town. Admittedly the pipe was €70, but it still beats having it sit in the corner of some tractor suppliers workshop for 3 weeks and a €600 bill (for work done by the apprentice)
  4. Small hose went on the grinder yesterday. It was deep in the machine (well one end was anyway) so hydraulic tank out, petrol tank out, lots of pipes disconnected. However, we got there, got a replacement pipe made up in town. Rebuilding today. A penny saved is a penny earned as they say.
  5. We await with bated breath. 🤞
  6. Big bloke, lots of steroids I imagine, might be a factor. Made a good career out of pro rassling.
  7. Easy grinding day today, weather still coolish and pleasant. Work coming in finally. Have a good one.
  8. Rec climbing is certainly a “thing” Perhaps try the FB groups. I’m sure you’ll find some contemporaries there (usually the younger ones) who will point you in the right direction or organise group climbs. Always best if there’s a couple of you for safety reasons.
  9. Nice try.
  10. Well in fairness he is no longer available.
  11. Never fear Boring Wanker, there’s always Oldfeller to like your posts
  12. I think that’s the point, he can’t
  13. Wondered why he was on the radio atm.
  14. In theory the separation thing works. In practice for a few months of the year it’s impossible to pick and choose where in the field you tip. You’re just lucky to get in and out.
  15. If only Lesmondo! lots and lots of little stuff still there.
  16. Exactly! From the fencer/waller’s point of view both scenarios are a nightmare If he blocks them from doing the work, how do they do the work and get paid? They certainly don’t want to get physical with a member of the public. If he damages the fence/wall every night who is going to pay to repeatedly restart the work? Go to 1:20 seconds
  17. Anyway ended up getting €2380 for that waste wood that they chipped up. Which is nice.
  18. That’s the bones of it.
  19. Do we have an identity for you Gareth? You may have said but I missed it.
  20. Who are you? And where are you? Seems like a simple question. You regularly call people Cnuts and threaten violence but seem happy to hide away behind your keyboard.
  21. How’s that going to work then?
  22. How can I say something to your face? You hide behind anonymity.
  23. So when are you going to tell us who you are and where you live?
