  1. Three with that start is a good result.
  2. Wordle 1,032 4/6 🟩⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩⬜🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟨⬜🟨🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 A welcome return to respectability. But look at line 3! I missed putting a green in its right place due to haste. Spanner!
  3. Ok. My Nephew spent most of last year in Oz, based in Melbourne. Plenty of work in the city, loads of firms asking. Maybe things have changed.
  4. I’m a dull bugger sometimes. Wordle 1,031 5/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟨🟨🟩⬜ ⬜🟨⬜🟩⬜ 🟨⬜⬜🟩🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  5. I presume you’ve scanned the Aussie tree work FB sites?
  6. They were kept in large and luxurious hutches in a stable. They often had the run of the stable floor with drainpipes and the like for their pleasure. Occasionally when I caught a live mouse I’d put it on the floor and watch as they got scent of it and hunted it in a type of early 70s β€˜Hunger Games’ Sometimes the mouse got under the stable door and escaped, sometimes he didn’t … I now regret this and feel sure I will in some way be replacing the mouse in some future karmic scenario.
  7. I kept ferrets as a teenager, for rabbiting. A polecat called Conan and an albino called Danny (both cobs obvs)
  8. Wordle 1,030 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟨🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟨🟨⬜ 🟨🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Getting a lot of bad starts lately, or getting thicker, possibly both.
  9. I will never not love ferrets. Those two look well cared for.
  10. Wordle 1,029 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟨⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟩⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟩⬜🟩🟩🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  11. Really? I’ve done it this morning (in 5) the answer is not a word you would start with. come clean!
  12. Yes, it’s a lot of moolah, but it looks inevitable that I’ll get one. I suppose they do fetch good money second hand, so when I retire in a few years there will be some money coming back on it. Thanks.
  13. Sorry to be boring @Mark Bolam but that’s a GRCS n’est pas@? How do you rate it? Thanks in advance, a fan.
  14. Sadly, it’s the fame you got!
  15. Wordle 1,027 6/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟨🟨⬜🟨 ⬜🟩🟨🟨🟨 ⬜🟩⬜🟨🟨 🟩🟩🟨🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Got into a rut on this one, could not move back from what I thought it was. Nearly went full @sandspider
  16. I’m on three atm. Left it at home on the iPad. Will finish in 4 hopefully.
  17. More like Thuja to me. As for the log burner, I’ve never known a wood burn with less heat, you could get in the firebox with it wearing a jumper and still shiver.
  18. Looks like old swipes from a ditch clearance with a digger to me as well.
  19. Wordle 1,026 4/6 ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ 🟨🟩⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Standard.
  20. I knew a guy, did up a car for resale, took it to the MOT centre with knackered shocks at the back but a new set in a box on the back seat. The tester knew and trusted the bloke asked him β€˜you putting those shocks on yeah?’ Guy confirmed so the tester passed. Guy took the shocks back and got a refund, sold the car to a youngster. Youngsters dad checked the car out a few days later clocked the knackered shocks, checked the MOT, so reported to the fuzz. Long story short prosecuted, lost job etc.
  21. Wordle 1,025 4/6 ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟨⬜⬜⬜🟩 ⬜🟩🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Decent effort after a 6 yesterday.
