  1. Misty, still and cool this morning, very autumnal. No more heat for the rest of August which is a relief.
  2. Wordle 1,523 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜🟨⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  3. I take it all back, rib tickling stuff!
  4. Your mate was lucky.
  5. Agreed, not an ounce of wit or humour, just embarrasing infantile crap. I give Oldfeller nul points on the joke thread.
  6. Wordle 1,522 3/6 ⬜⬜🟨🟨⬜ 🟩🟩⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 I’m in and out these days, sometimes don’t do it, sometimes don’t finish. But this was a good day.
  7. Try and keep your bullshit in the appropriate thread.
  8. Wordle 1,520 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟨🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  9. tbh, I’m impressed at you changing the head gasket. A few years ago you couldn’t change the oil filter on your chipper. I changed the H gasket on my grinder recently, admittedly with the guidance of my brother on FaceTime periodically, it’s not that easy for guys like us. Chapeau Stu!
  10. Agreed, bored by it now. 👍
  11. Point taken, they do mention themselves. But I stand by my assertion that the header is sensationalist, and doesn’t fairly reflect the thrust of the statement.
  12. Confused Stubs, what do you mean? ah, I interpret “just read it” as “I have just read it” You interpret it as “just read (reed) it” Past and present have the same conjugation.
  13. Could you post a link to the article please? I can’t for some reason. Then separate the actual statement the AA put out, which only says to used approved guys at the end, the main thrust of it is about heritage trees (and the public appreciation of them) and the difference the terminology of tree surgeon/arborist thing. Interesting that you hadn’t read the article when you started the thread. They don’t even name themselves, just recommend using someone affiliated to a professional body.
  14. I’d be interested if full time foresters/fallers grease their nose sprockets. Never greased a clutch bearing in my life either
  15. I joined the forestry journal FB page to get a bit of context. In fairness, the header (as is often the case) doesn’t really represent what they actually said about it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m no fan boy of the AA. I even became a citizen soldier and fought them on their home planet of Klendathu after they blew up Buenos Aires killing my whole family.
  16. It’ll lift more for sure. Not crazy weights of course
  17. You won’t have the flow for a mulcher, though it’s likely someone will try to sell you one Use it for lifting and shifting, that’s it’s forte.
  18. Wordle 1,517 5/6 ⬜🟩⬜🟨⬜ 🟨🟩⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  19. Good luck Pete!
  20. Wordle 1,516 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 ⬜🟨🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Happy with that.
  21. This guy is a time waster/wind up merchant. Do yourselves a favour and ignore him.
  22. See very few around second hand. People tend to hang on to them.
  23. Wordle 1,515 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ ⬜⬜⬜🟩🟨 ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  24. Looks like a well used path. If it’s not yours then leave it alone.
