It’s a neglected paddock, over the years the trees around the edge have leant further and further in to get the light, then…. They are not massive mind, I’ll take a few pics to illustrate. edit, new truck itching to start the day.

If you are lowering that yourself, taking wraps as friction up the tree (as it appears) then I think you’re getting a décent handle on it on your own. Running it yourself is laden with risk, best to keep it small and ‘snub’ it. Dunno about the course, I did mine 30 years ago, but it seems like you’re ready. I shouldn’t worry about practicing beforehand, that’s what the instructors are there for, to teach/show you.

You can get a picture of Jimmy Saville with almost anyone. I don’t really think it signifies anything.

What makes the original such a classic is the brilliant script, so many quotable lines. Here’s a great scene, I love the way the negotiator goes too far with the “we’ll even throw in a Blaupunkt” line.
