  1. Don’t be disingenuous Stubs. Me and the wife do it every day, though I do it in the morning, and she does it on her return from work. (no sniggering at the back!)
  2. I tend to rush it, but it doesn’t take long and seeing all the squares turn green releases a bit of dopamine. Give it a go, see who wins. New one every day. Wordle 1,001 4/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜🟨 🟩🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩⬜🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  3. That was my first thought as well.
  4. Cash usage discussions, draws me like a moth to the flame… They want to get rid of cash so that EVERY transaction is taxed. Don’t let them do it, do like I do, pay cash for your weekly supermarket shop (and restaurants etc.) I go to the ATM and withdraw the money before going in.
  5. A lot of peeps in the US are cutting softwoods day in day out. The difference between dead Robinia and live Western red cedar is night and day.
  6. Joey Barton is being sued by Jeremy Vine. Now I’m no fan of JV, but Barton has this coming. He’s on Twitter trying to get crowd funding for legal costs. The absolute throbber is heading for a big reality check.
  7. Picture the scene, this afternoon I’ve just left the accountants, having been told that I’m due a 14k rebate due to an error in their processes. Driving home this absolute classic comes on, raising my levels of general well being to heights not seen in a good long while. An absolute classic. Rangdang dingety dang alang..rangdang dingety dang alang…
  8. You’re thick, that’s clear, but let’s talk about your points. How many saws that aren’t Stihl or Husky would you find on a pro’s truck 5 years ago? Answer….zero, I wouldn’t have anything outside the big two on my pickup before I saw the 2511 on the internet, and a few very accomplished climbers using them. Getting this saw in the hands (and trucks) of pro users isn’t a triumph of marketing, because we, as pros, are unmoved by that, it’s a triumph of the engineering dept, who saw a gap, and went for it.
  9. Doubt it, fuel reservoir is at the rear on that one, at the front on the echo.
  10. Both figures are W/o bar and chain and no fuel.
  11. Typical! After me eulogising the 2511, it broke today. The bar nut threaded bar bit stropped the internal thread. I seem to recall it was a common problem, was there a reliable fix?
  12. 7am here, misty, but birds are singing and it’s sort of daylight. Spring is coming!
  13. I would say the 2511 is a revolutionary saw. The 201/540 is like hanging a breeze block off your belt. With the power of the 2511 you bridge the gap between the super light saws and the (aforementioned) 35cc toppers. A bit temperamental and needs another bar chain combo, but a brilliant saw.
  14. Agree with all that, worked on loads back in my working in London days. Any bit of waste ground seemed to get a decent size sycamore on it in a few years. Only downside is the aphids in the late spring (if you’re climbing) otherwise a pleasure to deal with.
  15. All you will see is some guys dressed in black, hoodies and masks.
  16. I believe Timberwolf stopped making them and supporting them, so draw your own conclusions. I read that the turntable was a bit vulnerable so most people have them welded up in position. @bigtreedon has one, so he’s the man to give you a review.
  17. I’ve seen people stack the brush on the stools.
  18. I live in a country like that.
  19. Amongst all the ridiculous ‘hang ‘em up by the bollocks’ suggestions, this one isn’t too bad.
  20. We soooo need a picture for this one..
  21. I don’t know that episode, but I bet Kirk shagged her.
  22. Coppice them. Do a proper job.
