  1. Poor Igor got attacked by another dog yesterday when being walked by my wife. Damage to his rear end, lots of stitches, really bad night so I sat up with him. 2/3 weeks of recovery.
  2. Bloke on here two days ago from Vienna looking for workers. Use the search function.
  3. Unless you have a witness or cctv it’s on you. Not your fault, certainly unfair, but I can’t see how you can get out of it.
  4. Back when I worked in London this happened a bit. Block of flats with dozens of separate residents, car parked for months, no one has a clue. You just have to make a decision if you can work around it. I’d be very reluctant to move it yourself. As an addendum, a year or so ago I had a big ash to remove for a landscape company with a big branch over a car park of a block of flats. On the initial pricing I stated that I wanted a section closed on the day, and that if any cars were in the way I would not do the work and charge a fee for ‘deplacement’ They said no, so I said no as well.
  5. I heard the other day his thumb went through the toilet paper and he smelled it! I hope you’re all happy with what you voted for.
  6. Wordle 1,196 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ 🟨🟩🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 standard.
  7. Ha, possibly. I cut a lot of deodars and BACs down dead and alive, grow fast and die young seems to be their motto.
  8. They’re also prone to turning their toes up over a very short period of time, which for the OP is ideal.
  9. I suspect he just found the right button.
  10. Had/have a terrible cold, pissing down, so no work. Gave the cold to the wife, who now has a legitimate reason to openly despise me. Bit bored, might start a podcast, every other wanker does.
  11. Wordle 1,195 4/6 ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟨⬜🟨 🟨⬜🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  12. I already did that one. Good-fellers?
  13. Ha, no. Was a pretty big smack. Sort of incident where you’re a bit scared to take your boot off to see the damage.
  14. You want cut and crush protection. This is my foot after a blow from a branch with new chunky proper chainsaw boots. Hurt for a bit, but finished the tree and didn’t lose a days work. I think it might have been different with ordinary dealer boots or whatever.
  15. Rotatech or global recycling.
  16. Iirc, there’s a single hydraulic ram, operating the sideways movement, is that right?
  17. On my rake the tines are the other way round, which tbh, works better.

  20. Very good, hadn’t been for 10 or so years. Couldn’t meet up with a few on here due to phone signal issues as discussed. Managed to see my nephew and Big Tree Don, talked to some machinery boys. More of a social thing for me than a real business trip.
