  1. They have to clean it because the glass comes into contact with the discharge/spout of the pump. So if you’ve got monkey pox or whatever, and it is on the glass, then it can get on the pump, then onto other glasses…
  2. Got one delivered for me in my local dealer, not committed to buy it, but prolly will.
  3. 800 a month seems like a lot of moolah, for France. Thats a mortgage on a small house.
  4. Have you had the 550i xp rear handled battery saw in yet?
  5. This pic really captures it.
  6. Wordle 1,646 6/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟩⬜ ⬜⬜⬜🟩⬜ ⬜⬜⬜🟩🟩 ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  7. Do you mean you avoid reducing big trees or reducing trees ‘bigly’?
  8. Yes, an appreciation of a decent cup of tea.
  9. Best things about England. Pubs. Christmas. The ability of the English to communally join in on something, Football/Rugby tournaments, Bonfire nights, village fetes etc. Pubs. The non fixation with qualifications, if you do it, you can do it. Entreprenurial spirit in the young. Did I say pubs?
  10. Interesting I thought.

  12. Watched a few bits and bobs of it this morning. There’s this one angle from behind JP where AJ lines him up before the right hand that finishes him, there’s a look of absolute glee on AJs face knowing he’s about to get a clean shot on his jaw. Lovely stuff.
  13. What!? Is there something we should know? Where are you off to?
  14. All fights are orchestrated in the sense that the opponents are hand picked, that goes for all combat sports, unless it’s outside the pub at closing time.
  15. I can’t see how a fix serves any purpose. AJ is doing it for the money of course, so might as well spark him out when he fancies it. Theres never been a hint of a fix in any of JPs fight thus far.
  16. Last working day of the year. Drizzle here, but not heavy. Easy repollard and spruce topping. Back in time for Neighbours (lunchtime edition)
  17. Yes, bit annoyed with myself about that, broke my own rules.
  18. Wordle 1,644 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟨⬜⬜🟩 🟨⬜⬜⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 I doubt, considering the start, that’ll be bettered today.
  19. I think the most disappointing aspect of this is not the failure to regain the Ashes, it’s the fact that apart from briefly on the second day of the first test, England have not been remotely in the contest. Abject.
  20. He might string it out a bit, really humiliate Paul.
  21. Surely this won’t last a single round?
  22. Wordle 1,643 4/6 🟨⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟩⬜🟩 🟨⬜🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  23. @AHPP any truth in the rumours the Palestine Solidarity Activist hunger strikers use pictures of your cooking to keep them motivated to abstain?
  24. Good stuff Svat, never surrender! @topchippyles it’s a question that I ask myself more and more. I’m training a young climber atm and he’s taking huge leaps (not literally) week on week. So for 85% of the stuff we do he’s as quick as me or near enough, this leaves me on the ground, running the ropes and feeding the chipper and guess what? It’s harder work than climbing especially on my rather fragile back, but he loves climbing and every day he’s in the harness and up the trees he’s happy, who could deny him that? But to get back to your question, what’s next for me? In an ideal world I’d just hire another fit young person, let them do the grunt work and just run the loader and grinder. Employing another body is too much of a risk though. I’ll just carry on, hopefully stay working (in treework) till retirement, mechanise as much as possible, try and get the work that suits us best, head down to the finish line!
