  1. I dint promise the HSE nuffink!
  2. Don’t think anyone is worried about climbing it.
  3. Wordle 1,538 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜🟩⬜ ⬜🟩⬜🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  4. If you hammer it it’ll likely croak, they (genuinely) don’t respond well to heavy pruning.
  5. That’s a columnar or whatever they are called. Never seen one before, looks good.

  7. Wordle 1,537 6/6 ⬜🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟨🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟨🟨⬜⬜🟨 🟨🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟨🟩⬜⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 I have become rather fond of carelessly wasting lines till 5 and 6 when I can smell the failure and knuckle down to pull it out of the bag. A fitting analogy of my life thus far, truth be told.
  8. Well duhhhh!
  9. Take your point, could be misconstrued.
  10. Angela Rayner, dead woman walking. Got to go.
  11. Prunus cerasifera ‘pissardii’ Quite right Rich.
  12. Bastard to reduce btw.
  13. Always been a purple plum in my universe.
  14. Wordle 1,536 6/6 🟨🟨🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟨🟨🟨🟨 ⬜🟨🟨🟨⬜ ⬜⬜🟨🟨🟩 🟨⬜⬜🟨🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 I was in and out of this all day, walked away and gave up on 5. Relooked at it just now, 15 seconds later…bingo! (Or Wordle! To be more accurate)
  15. Don’t leave anything (machinery) on the trailer. Put the chipper in the container. Get a lock on the hitch of the chipper. Maybe even a chain around the chassis of the chipper locked to the floor. Don’t get complacent, they’re like foxes round a chicken coop, get sloppy and within days it’s gone.
  16. Don’t ever change @Sviatoslav Tulin! You are irreplaceable.
  17. Back to paid work, fallen pop in a garden, easy gravy.
  18. Dunno, he’s dead now so cannot ask. I know he said getting the footings right was the biggest challenge, as if they’re too big (sloppy digger work) it costs a fortune in extra concrete.
  19. Sure you weren’t snoring?
  20. Wordle 1,535 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟨🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  21. Back to work after a couple of week off, weather suitably autumnal. Hedge cutting at home today to get us back in the groove. Laurels that surround the house, planted by me 15 years ago. Takes most of the day, twice a year. One foot in front of the other…
  22. I have heard of them in the US
  23. How is he a puppet? Who is pulling the strings? He seems to do as he pleases, when he pleases. You can criticise him, with good reason in many cases, but he is not a puppet of mysterious forces. Of course Vance is in line to be the next Potus! he’s the VP, and a popular one at that. Thats not some conspiracy, it’s common sense. You can only serve two terms so there’s zero chance of Trump going for three. The Democrats are nowhere, and have been discredited for the way they propped up a clearly failing Biden, lots of Yanks haven’t forgiven them for that. Short of something really dramatic JD is a shoo-in for 2028.
