  1. In your face uncaring universe!
  2. Last one. Only 4 Lorrys out today. Back Tuesday. IMG_1950.mov
  3. He seems to have done a decent job since getting promoted. He did say that, as King, he would steer clear of controversy, and so far has been as good as his word.
  4. Keeping the other thread clean. Some stuff on my waste wood chipping. Reckons on 6 lorry loads. At my estimate, that’s 540 cubic metres, 300 kg per cube, so 162 tonnes at €20 per tonne. IMG_1946.mov IMG_1945.mov IMG_1944.mov
  5. Who doesn’t heat with wood? On a typical day, when it’s an everything off site job I’ll bring 1 and a half to two tonnes of pine or some rubbish back here. I’ve had 4 tonnes back this week alone. The premium stuff is either given away to friends or neighbours (of me or the client) or put to one side for me to split and store for our use. We are fast approaching the point where I’m splitting wood for whoever buys the house of us in a few years!
  6. Well yeah, but no but yeah. It’s in my field, so no rain welcome. I’m just glad to get rid, since burning became illegal here, the pile has become visible from space.
  7. I asked him when he he came to look at him “how much?” I very nearly blurted out “you can have it for free” I am not the worlds greatest negotiator.
  8. Just had a call from the biomass guy who’s chipping my waste wood. Coming tomorrow. Cannot wait!
  9. Some people think he’s a twat acting in bad faith, some think he’s a good président, here’s the place to discuss it, I don’t see the issue.
  10. Temperatures here bearable 28/29 at their highest. Finishing that hedge lowering I started a couple of weeks back. You have to be mentally right for these, filled with a ‘gitter done’ attitude, otherwise it’s miserable. The money comes in handy of course! Have a good day.
  11. Another scenario.. You let it go and move on.
  12. Can’t blame him tbf.
  13. Ok, must have a new account.
  14. No sign of him here or on FB.
  15. Maybe not for you, for the rest of us it’s like Groundhog Day.
  16. So what are you doing now? Last I heard you were leaving tree work to do something else.
  17. Norman Tebbit. I did some tree work for him when he lived in Mannings Heath in 2000ish. He was charming and chatty, interested in what we thought and said. Sent me a letter on House of Lords headed paper which I have somewhere
