  1. Take the piss if you must! First stump with the new grinder, getting used to the single lever control. c00f38ad-ddbc-4797-8210-a74c1ffc7be2.mov
  2. Picked this up today, 2.7 tonne Komatsu. No spring chicken but seems straight enough, no obvious faults (!) Probably just put a thumb on for a start. Not strictly for arb, but will come in handy around the place, can be moved on my trailer and I might upsell a bit of digger work.
  3. I have little interest in the device itself, but I am interested in the marketing and how, or how it doesn’t gain traction with the small niche community that is tree climbers. You have to admire these companies that spend years doing R&D on these things for not much return except the prestige of manufacturing the “go to” My young trainee climber is reasonably interested and excited, he uses my ZZ plus when he uses a device. If he can be persuaded to part with his hard earned in the coming months, they’ve done well.
  4. Wordle 1,604 4/6 🟩⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩⬜⬜⬜🟩 🟩🟩⬜🟨🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Been away for the weekend. Good to see Doug hasn’t lost his magic touch.
  5. I know it blew up. We’ve sort of had this conversation before.
  6. Grinder finally turned up after its tour of European capitals. Seems small, but ergonomically better than the Rayco. First day at work Monday. i’ll let you know.
  7. What a bizarre thought process! They don’t want a slice of it, they want the lions share, to be the big dog, to dethrone the Zigzag, to be a game changer. The best rises to the top, partly through word of mouth, partly through social media.
  8. You get the one thing that just works by having lots of things trying to be the best. Competition breeds innovation.
  9. No, but that looks the business..
  10. Clear up the workshop a bit, bit of maintenance, but basically yes, a day off.
  11. Pissing down, not due to stop all day. Indoor pursuits only.
  12. Wordle 1,601 4/6 🟩⬜🟩⬜⬜ 🟩⬜🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  13. There’s a rubber thingy that will hold a Krab rigid in a rear handle, I’ll see if I can find it on the net..
  14. Oooh hark at Mr fancy-knickers! We’ll need to pay a shilling just to talk to you soon. Next thing you’ll be selling your extension ladders.
  15. I know, mad isn’t it?
  16. Can you put a picture up?
  17. Nobody is keeping count, but you’re pretty consistent at this.
