  1. Very decent size oak to take down. No lean, but a lot of back weight towards a house and septic tank. 4 and a half hours in the harness. Sore back tonight!
  2. I think so, just googled Merlin bird song identifier, find that logo and download that.
  3. Looks like this.
  4. Sure it’s the right one?

  6. It’s free.
  7. The app is great for the shy birds, short toed tree creeper, firecrest and a couple of others. Only had the app a few days, the wife is already sick of hearing about it!
  8. New name for the fan tailed warbler.
  9. I would like to indulge in sexual congress with Katy Perry. But we’re not listening to her records after.
  10. Yes, good ad for the grcs. I’ll watch the second half tonight.
  11. Saw the report on Sky. Worthing won, but so did Truro, they’ve blown it imo.
  12. No, you’re right, slop on used engine oil, big brush strokes, don’t muck about, breathe that good stuff in, don’t be a poof.
  13. Ok, fill your boots then.
  14. It’s not about ecology. It’s about you dying of cancer
  15. Used engine oil is no bueno.
  16. The satellite imagery is fairly well established, even when I was a boy. It’s the computer programs predicting the likely scenarios that has caused the improvement in forecasting. At least that was my understanding of it.
  17. Compared to when I was young, the weather forecast is very accurate.
  18. Just got that Merlin bird song identifier app which is pretty awesome. Would recommend.
  19. Fair point. If I was a Council Tree Officer for example I would not identify myself for fear of repercussions.
  20. If you’re genuinely funny it helps. Remember the fencing guy with the Thai wife?
  21. I think over the years our definition of Troll has changed. By today’s standards he was quite mild mannered.
  22. Don’t encourage copying of good design by the unscrupulous. My particular hobby horse and I will ride it into the sunset.
  23. I was banned as Le Sanglier. Came back incognito as Mountain Man for a couple of years. But I disliked the deceit, so fessed up to Steve and came back in a third incarnation under my own name.
  24. Only one ban Joe!
  25. Lots of back pedalling by DJT and getting his staff to insist “that was the plan all along” Increasingly looking like he has been too gung-ho. He is on the road to a FAFO moment.
