Exactly! My hired man (19) has one of those bottomless quick filling type wells. He uses the water a lot for various jobs.

We did buy an expensive pump years ago, but there’s only 2 or 3 cubic metres down there. It takes a long time to refill, so not worth the effort. Sold the pump.

Yes, my blue Ranger developed a leak from the gearbox area a month or so before the end of the three (or two) year warranty. Fixed without any quibble.

Made a box out of old bits lying around to keep the batteries in one place in the van. Don’t bother begging me to do commissions for high end carpentry. I know I’m wasted climbing trees, but carpentry for me is a passion, I could never just prostitute my art for money.

Tbf, I’ve seen a few of this guys videos. He goes on campus and invites questions from students. He’s always polite, and bats away insults. They are not children, they’re college students.

Ok, understood. I’m not a TO. There are some on here who post without revealing their identity (for obvious and understandable reasons) Maybe they’ll chime in with some informed takes on it. All I’d say is hanging your hat on some less that 30 year old trees is a bit tenuous. I have a question. Is your motivation the love of the trees or are you hoping to prevent a development near to your house?

Some American on Instagram the other week did a reverse gob a foot or so above his back cut for the heel of his free hand to push the top over easier, which I thought was a nice little trick. Stupidly simple like all the best ones.
