  10. Yeh...thought as much.... little bit for now and then sort it out in the next couple of years or so Thanks guys
  11. ...aw , you guessed correctly
  12. Have an apple tree to prune ! It is a pretty old tree and the owner is keen not to lose it. I was going to just take out some of the bigger stuff this time and then sort the rest of the smaller stuff next year , to give the tree time to recover. Does that sound OK or should I just go for it in one shot and prune it to a nice finish ??? There are 5 or 6 main stems , not just the one trunk. Trying to get a decent shape may be a problem ! Any advice welcome.
  13. Don't see why not ?
  14. Trying to clear that elusive piece of small diameter branch that gets stuck parallel with the blades/drum (left after not clearing the shute from an earlier session ) that stops you pull-starting the engine... This was before we realised that we could undo 2 bolts to pivot the shute. (I should point out all safety precautions had been implemented before feeding my groundie into the chipper....) Although , as he was the one that blunted the blades on it by shovelling bits of gravel in with the small stuff , I was tempted to do otherwise ! (Chipper = MDL Powerup)
  15. Blimey....Nice result for Worcester.... Wasps had a nail biting draw 35-35 today , at Exeter.
  16. Steer clear.....the vibration levels are high... Sold mine within a few months. Buy something decent....
  17. I cut one for a fellow boater. Just cut a ring from an ash stump near where his boat was moored. Was about 18" diameter and 2 1/2" thick.... He sanded it himself. I was given a box of cake for my troubles !
  18. ...I heard that !! Wasps v Zebre tomorrow
  19. I use Lithium polymer batteries and these theoretically should not be discharged below 30% to ensure full potential of the battery. Also , you should store them , when not in use , at 40-50% charge. Not 100%. Can't see many people doing that ? Anybody read up on lithium ions ????
