Coming up for 56 and still have a bit of life in me yet , so.... decided to have a go at a bit of Skeleton.(going down a hill head first on a tin tray!) Bath University have a practice track which is used by Team GB. Went down yesterday and had a great time (there is a video, but too big to upload.. ) Anyway , here is a picture of me and the other "have-a-go's" and Team GB members -

I did my training over at Moreton Morrell... I had never cut a tree down before.... I made mistakes... The important thing is learning from your mistakes. I go to a college for my hair cuts.... It's cut/coloured by students... They make mistakes.... They learn from them. Great to see students enjoying what they are learning. -
I've got one as a back up... Bought it a while back. About the same size as my Stihl193T , but not as powerful. I'll blow the dust off it tomorrow and give it a whizz

Had my first one of the year.I was out detecting last night about 7:30 and the pesky blighter got me between the bottom of my leggings and top of my sock...about a centimetre gap. Grrrrrrrrr:thumbdown:

Phew !! What a game , talk about taking it to the wire.... Have to say well done to Exeter. That clever penalty kick decision to make it 20-20 was an excellent decision , thought they would have gone for the corner. They did play a "quicker" game compared to Wasps. Our defence was well and truly tested ! Great atmosphere in the stadium.... apart from that annoying "droning sound" from the Chiefs' supporters It could have been anyones game really.... ...Oh , did I mention Wasps finished top of the table ???? Ho hum

I support a young lad with autism ( second job - as a support worker ) and you have to explain very clearly what you intend to do , otherwise things can go wrong.... but also get them involved in doing things too , like help planting the tree.... -
Yeh , well done Stubby for getting back into the Europeans Should be a cracking semi-final for both of us Shavey ! Leicester could be a hard one for us.... and Sarries will give you lot a good game !! Bought my ticket already

Try putting Vaseline at the opening of your nose....it catches the pollen. ( may look weird but it works ! ) I now use Piriton antihistamine. Years ago I used to have a steroid injection, which would last about a month, to get me through the worst of the season.
