  3. My mother had pancreatic cancer last year..... 60/40 .... My fingers are crossed for you both. x

  7. Non CE Cougar Orange for me ?
  8. Bought myself a Taylor GS Mini a couple of weeks ago...... Never played a guitar before. I wrote a few simple songs which I could play on my ukulele , but trying to play the same songs on my guitar is proving a step too far at the moment. Loving learning so far ?
  9. I was nowhere near Gatwick ........ Honest guv....
  10. Ha Ha ..... instead of the Winter Olympic Biathlon event of x-country skiing and shooting , we could have x-country cross cutting ! Those are really cool goggles (not) ?
  11. I'm doing 6pm to 10pm on Christmas Day , sleeping in at work and then doing 7am to 5 pm on Boxing Day. Care work doesn't stop for Christmas.... And I'll probably do odd days over the Christmas period , clearing undergrowth on a long term project.
  12. Went to college , did engineering. Went to Sheffield Polytechnic , did computer studies ( and lots of drinking ! ) Worked on a farm for a year. Hitch-hiked around Europe. Worked with my Dad for a year ( cabinet maker ) Employed as a studio kitchen fitter , until made redundant. Self employed as a kitchen fitter for 20 years. Went into "care" industry , working with learning disabilities. Started on the tree work only 3 years ago. Have done various " VTEC level3" night school courses....anatomy and physiology , indian head massage , sign language , counselling courses level 2 and 3 , ear candling and next thing is I am starting a stained glass course in January. Nothing too special really .....?
  13. Mine is only used as a back up , if my Stihl 193T isn't working.... So it's collecting dust at the moment !
  14. Try the DeWalt "Titaniums" from Screwfix. They have had really good reviews. I have a pair and think they are really good .
  15. Is that a Makita chainsaw I spotted in your video ?
  16. I have a fan on my Becton Bunny.... but instead of having it blow warm air away from the stove , I have it drawing cold air towards the pipe. So, I guess , the wrong way round as to what it should be....kind of cooling the flue pipe....So would that improve the thermodynamics of the stove ???? Fire away critics !!?
  17. Solid machine....had mine a while now and only gets used occasionally . I have been really pleased with it. The only drawback is the width. I will be cutting off the wheel guards and reducing the axle width over the Winter.......Otherwise , I love it !
  18. What are the vibration levels ? ?
  19. I've just chucked another bit of ash on mine.... it was cut and split 3 weeks ago. The moisture content is between 20-25 according to my meter.... roaring away nicely.
  20. I'll bear that in mind , as I am in Warwick !
  21. Interesting point...I think there are lots of people that could have brain surgery for all sorts of reasons ! I just get on with life and do what I want to do....life's too short , we only live once (apparently)
