  12. Now and then I go and see a job that needs 2 people and have to turn it down. Normally , I work on my own . Is there anyone around the Warwick area , who is perhaps in a similar situation , that would be able to help me out on the odd occasion ? Send me a PM if interested……..thanks. Maria
  13. My main job is as a Support Worker , working with people with learning disabilities. I have been doing the 30,31,38 courses over the last 12 months or so and love working with trees…..(CS 39 looming ) I am aiming just to do a couple or so days a week of tree work. I work hard and keep things tidy , on the tree side of things, and then recover when I'm back doing the caring work ! ( I am nearly 54 ) Although I have a feeling that I could probably do OK with just tree work and hedges , I think it is good to rest my body and revert back to the mental work…… Change is as good as a rest……… Wish I was 25 years younger !
  14. I had a faulty fuel cap on my FS56 strimmer , so looked up on the Net and I too found the above information. So , I took my strimmer round to the local dealer and told him….. he hadn't heard of any recall ( obviously as it was in USA )….. I bought a new cap. The new one had the black line on top……the old one didn't. Works fine now though Was wondering if the fuel tank also distorts ?
  15. ……no wonder the Ref ran off the pitch !!
  16. Advice duly received and digested There was a lot of creeper…..and spiking up creeper is a bit tricky
  17. My first "spike" up a tree for a customer
  18. A spot of radio control gliding…… this is my F3F racing model on the North Yorkshire Moors…...
  19. Quite right !! At 53 ….. nearly 54 and I am doing my CS39 in November….. I love it……work hard….and play hard !!
  20. use an axe………burn up some calories !
  21. Just bought a 193T and have only run a couple of tanks through it. There was a detailed review of it that I found on the Net which highlighted the need to keep clean the bar/chain/oiler , otherwise there was a tendency for it to stop oiling. But guess that depends on what thickness oil you use ? I like mine………but then I like my MS261 CM too………which some people would probably put in the rubbish bin ! Oh yeh……. it came with a 14" bar. It cuts fine on a 14…….. but have ordered a 12" bar…...
  22. I paid pound notes to a Polish guy who lives in Leamington. All legit……brand new in box , with manual in Polish…… ( anyone speak Polish ? , lol )
  23. Just bought an MS193T for £320…… off flee-bay. Originates from Poland…… Seems good to me ?!? It came with a 14" bar , but I'm thinking of a 10 or 12 really. Will see how she handles…...
  24. Perhaps it was "who" had been using the 261 beforehand ??? …that it was causing problems ??? I have used my 261 and "looked after it"…….. and it is great ! Just a passing thought
