  1. Do they cover Ireland?
  2. Not yet jon😋
  3. aer lingus will take drivers license , may want to confirm with any others though......
  4. Have a good one Jon! Another one under the belt!
  5. Don't laugh, spray wd40 on exposed skin , shorts and socks, will keep flies midges and ticks off you, also have noticed wasps keep their distance! Also good to get sap off your skin! Btw its fish oil! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk while dossing!
  6. Just make sure they are high speed bearings, I will check if I have spares tomorrow, they are spurious, lasting well! If I can find number I will let you know! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk while dossing!
  7. I wouldn't bet on it! Be in a container to Eastern Europe before you could ring the plod! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk while dossing!
  8. not seen one up close for a whie, but ..... take wheel off, put on back to front, mark where new hole would be on inside, drill hole in axel on vice, same for other side, shorten axel and there you are! this would suit the non mark orange rims, if you are still caught trim the outer bit of pipe flush with tyre face, Hope this makes sense!
  9. uhhh! that was a perfectly good good cup of tea!..... choking here:thumbup:
  10. Just sorted a Neighbour farmer, four days 12 hrs/day2 lads chipping me on loader, surcharged 2 sets of knives, he still walking funny;-) Said he would give me the rest of his clearance work on 3 farms, Very profitable! I used turn down other people's mess, now I take it all on, and reap the rewards, sure it's heavy on the chipper but it is well maintained, and I invest it back into the gear.best of all it fills the days when it's too windy for other work! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk while dossing!
  11. Yeah love the buff, have loads as i keep mislaying them,i find they are great in wind as a sawdust filter if you pull them up over your mouth and nose, ,if it is paticularly windy or cold i wear 2 and when it warms up take one off. So a better material sounds just the job! no more unwanted stiffies:corkysm21:
  12. if you do go down the skid steer road, try get industrial tyres, they are a lot kinder on planings , in any case the skid steer is the dogs dohickey for leveling yards, size wise go for something around the 4 ton range, that will cover most yard duties, the deutz engines and isuzu engines are cheapest on diesel, the kubota tend to be overly thirsty for this application, forget the cosmetics, get something with a good engine and hyds, .... once you have one you will ignore the tele and tractor loader,
  13. Au Contraire...an alternetive to the chainsaw:[ame] [/ame], might be cheaper with a saw but....... ;-))
  14. I suppose it depends on soil type really, personally the two sizes i use are 6 inch and 9 inch, between the two they will cover most soil types and conditions, square or rectangular stakes are not much use foe wire fencing in my opinion, especially on curved runs, might be ok for straight runs. For p+r fencing i work with the 9inch and depending on soil type and custumors wishes either pack with a bar or concrete, if the soil is free of stones you may get away with a smaller flight and knocking them in but they may twist as you drive them.....hope this helps, i am sure others will share their opinions and experiences;-))
  15. :001_tt2:That put a smile on my face! would fit in anywhere.... no handballing:001_rolleyes:
  16. koni... well worth the money the heavy trac ones Jon, i think they are on ebay...... had standard 130 spec lr ones on only got 18 months on the 130 tipper... had old man emus on 110, got 9 years out of em.....
  17. No Jon, not had the time, all stripped cleaned prepped and painted, but need a quiet day to fit.....and thats not happening soon..... gah!
  18. Has anyone used a load leveller from a range rover classic?it is centre mounted between the upper A frame mounts down to the axel, i saw one on flea bay last week on a 130 chassis....item number 321649742944, might help with body rool and the appearance of being normally loaded...... toying with the idea of using air springs instead of coil, but with truck bags not landrover oem....
  19. Rowan is Witch Hazel is Witch Wood...... it has great thereputic values, but is defy a no go in superstitions, also white thorns, any timber in a ring fort..... any lone tree in ireland especially Whit thorn Blackthorn `Holly are considered farey trees..... Wouldn't even pick a twig off them, must be 15 ring forts locally, full of fallen timber..... never touched!
  20. used cow mats a few times..... they are 3 foot by 4 foot by inch thick rubber mats used in cow cubicles so any farm supplier would point you in the right direction.... they are good and strong and chainsaw friendly, and when not needed are great on the floor at work benches!
  21. Hi Deano, the composite decks are good for about 7 years with careful use but the trailer flexes quite a bit, i have used 3mm plus the checker on plant and flat trailers with stitch welding, to be honest it is fine but ads weight and stresses the rest of the chassis, resulting in further repairs, this summer my bobcat polished off the floor of the lm 14 66 flatbed, so i replaced the floor with scots pine 9x2.5 planks from my local mill, about 10 mm gaps using the same style of screws that they originally used for installation, while i was at it i did the spring bushes and checked the slider sides for wear, so six odd months in no cracks no fear of the floor failing, and no worries about compromising the surface, the trailer is firmer loading diggers and skid steers, and lengths of timber can be loaded without fear of damage. Worst case if you break a board its 8 or 10 screws and its replaced! also doused all sides with real creosote.... best part is it needs no maintenance, little cleaning. Side benefit it makes for a very quiet trailer:-)) Seasons greetings!
  22. Done!...almost has me in a christmassy mood;-))
  23. Seasonal topic.....
  24. how can i campy respond to this..... don't do it..... go buy a picket line ... a long perforated bit of steel that you drive pickets into.... they are a mod item ...you can string them together to get the purchase required.... spirofix are not the answer here in my opinion.... especially given their proclivity to breaking..... limited to maybe holding back leaning daffodils:thumbup:Nuff said.....
