  1. Familiarity breeds contempt....... Always treat your system as an enemy.... It will get you if you trust it.......
  2. We all could help by using Google to search rather than searching within the forum.....👍
  3. Mine is set up counter rotating, and it is not an issue, I fit a chain curtain to the front for public work, but the majority of my work is private, And 200 feet is no problem for throwing missiles....😝
  4. There's a lad in Pembrokeshire running one on a tracked bobcat , if anyone needs one... Serious clearing kit......
  5. In reality the pull would probably snap your spine at the very least..... Unless you have carp harness and rope, ........ It is my single biggest back of mind worry..... Can happen so easily if you have a dozy groundie......
  6. Yes high flow, can still be fitted to Excevator...... Like to keep my options open,
  7. Forgot to say it was on a rubber duck doing the railways, only did a months work, the guy went mback to the 1 m flail as they wouldn't pay extra for a 2 meter, lucky for me.... Mind you had a job ge5ting it out of the brambles where he left it😋
  8. He can't reach the pedals...... 😝 Definitely a knack in getting the most out of them, took a few goes to set the roller up correctly, I use it mainly on pre clearing the ground for cutting, no tripping over brambles and other "carp" Does a fairly good job on grass to, had a job earlier this year , unused football pitches, had not been cut in 5 years, 6.5 acres took a full day. But the results were impressive.
  9. bought one a few years ago have no use for a strimmer now, and on farm jobs don't need the chipper😝 Built a floating hitch for it,
  10. Anyone got a pair of utility 110 5 door sides? Need to get rid of the in canopy, and go full roof on my crew cab..... Thanks ,j
  11. Yup. Insight are game.
  12. I use a Slanetrac 180 finger bar on the bobcat Skidsteer, it's grand on beech avenues and the like, but still needs 2 runs to get a reasonable finish, but it is fast . Great for getting hedges back in order, a quick run of a lad with a pole cutter to tidy up for a fine finish,
  13. I concur..... My 300 tdci was leaking lightly from the crankshaft into the bell housing, not a huge issue so I said it will be fine apart from the mess..... Got a threaded to push fit air fitting added a length of suitable pipe, plugged the end and hey presto no Landrover territory marking 👌..... So clutch calves..... Then do the repair. In the mean time drain the pipeline overnight once in a while ......
  14. Hind sight is 20 20
  15. Start with the fuse box. A lot of idiots put fuses in the wrong holders, check the guide, Then get under and check the fuel lines..... Any air in the system will bring up an injector light, also pull the positive and neg off leave for a while then touch the cables together to fully flatten the system. Not the battery, the cables. Iveco are notorious for wiring issues.... Still a great van......
  16. Sounds good!
  17. That's what I'm doing atm. The 880, and 5 200's get laid up with aspen, stuff in regular use just run it dry.....
  18. Heh heh for sure!
  19. So it's not just me finds him annoying, mind you fair play for fluency of the lingo, and in fairness a nice job..... Getting payed to travel and see how other countries operate! Love the handlebars!
  20. Tried going back to a prussic during the summer..... Arse! Never again....... What a waste of energy👹 love my unicender........... Will use one as a back up though , don't know how I used climb hip thrusting ..... Always hated it!
  21. Light frost here last night, but yesterday was glorious, bit of heat there at the moment but had the stove on a few nights every week to keep the damp at bay,
  22. That is wonderful!
  23. Gosh! I didn't think there would be so many branches....... What will I do with it all?
  24. Tbh you would do well to get an ultrasonic bath, as the crud that builds up will not be moved with carb cleaner alone, it may look clean but after years of doing services without ultrasonics the difference it makes in the carb is fantastic, I bought a 6 l one not to long ago and it is the mutts nuts, One of the quads was running like crap, stripped carb down and gave it a good 2hrs in bath at 80 deg, runs very well now, will still be doing a full jet and needles replacement though, If you are unsure of method,a quick search of you tube and you will find the right video for your carb type!
