  4. Once you sand you will probably loose the silvering. Wax is, in my view annoying as it attracts dust and sticks easily. I would prob use a Danish oil gives a similar matt finish

  15. I did get a cheap patterned part from fleabag, may be the one on the link. For some reason it just kept jamming on the Paul's after first pull and then would not recoil until you took hole thing off and then bits exploded all over the shop. I also took out all parts from the old and put in the new, still no success so guessing tolerances are off somewhere.
  16. My pull start casing has cracked on my 064, and was rewelded few months back. It has however now since blown and cracked further. Does anyone have a said side stater casing I can buy or no of a saw being broken? Thanks Simon

  18. I recall that there are no aftermarket options available, pots or pistons and are no longer supported by stihl, that's why never buy a 084. Hopefully you didn't!!
  19. Variation is key. And when your self employed you will learn to take any jobs which can earn you money. Climbing day in and out will wear you thin physically and knacker your body.
