  3. If you want chip we sometimes work in Sevenoaks/Tonbridge/Edenbridge area PM me your details and I'll drop some off if close by
  4. Maybe its because stihl provide a patching kit with every pair They do melt easily:sneaky2:
  5. Nice proportions Nice weight Only thing that would annoy me is the waney edge Did the customer say anything to this effect
  6. can't you get back to your college and get it changed Another example of having to double check everything
  7. tree sounds great tidy up sounds like a mare 3 grand?
  8. bet you never have problems with bad debtors:biggrin:
  9. was the chain brake activated by the jolt??
  10. I love cedar Nice colour and burns smashing:001_smile:
  11. stihl do a great splitting maul wrap some duct tape around the handle just behind the head and it will last for years. Technique is all with splitting If the handle contacts solid wood then thats when it usually breaks. Go through how you use it in slow motion and all may be revealled
  12. what exactly is in aspen fumes I mean- does it stop your eyes stinging
  13. I was advised to turn the rate down
  14. We had a similar yard all sweetness and light for a while then turned nasty- basically jealous that we were making more money than them. Walked away head held high and rent paid up. In a much better place now. No landlord tennant set up as we own it. All neighbours treat us like fellow humans and not tennants. Much better
  15. I'm sure you've checked that We had an exemption ticket (free)for I seem to remember 100 tonnes of chip. Not sure how legal it is to allow others to use that facility. I'm inclinded to agree in that you would need a waste transfer station licence= maga bucks Whether its right or wrong but the EA sure make it hard to conduct this sort of operation
  16. so if the price of fuel goes up 10% how much do you put up your prices. Fuel for me is about 8% of business costs including labour So do I put my prices up by 1.25% Or do I drive slower and reduce my costs back to what they were before
  17. do they aspen fuels have how much lower CO levels There needs to be some research on this funded independently I would welcome definitive results
  18. Our saw originally failed about one week from purchase- I was happy to accept a repair because you do don't you & not wanting to be an arse. So you're saying that if a product fails within 1 month that you should stick out for a refund- accept no repair just in case it happens again.
  19. I'm making a note You have been great in this- no complaints at all with your service- you even fixed it last time while I waited. It's stihl issues and I hope you let them know what a big problem they have. Out of interest- would you offer a refund/ exchange if it happens again- (would be the third time)
  20. really hate blower vacs As the bag fills up your body suffers twisting that it shouldn't. We just blow into a pile and rake into a bag I tell customers who ask why we don't use them that our risk assessment has pinned them as a no no. billy goats are also rubbish as the bag fills up and you have to support the weight. I suppose they work OK on dry leaves but thats about it plus they don't collect from under cars. There you go- divulging trade secrets again:001_smile:
  21. being new to this- does that explain why most gym machines work legs more than arms- other than weights (bench presses etc) In that case can I ask what the biggest muscle in the body is and whats the best way to exercise it No kidding- I need to lose weight- always got on the bike in the past but is there a better way
