  1. Nice simple trucks the RL/MK/MJ. I also like the Matadors!!
  2. Some derail.
  3. I watched some Magpies attacking a Blackbird nesting site this afternoon.
  4. Could you print a business name on the tapes?
  5. Is that because you still have a large stock of the small 5LTRS size? (Not easy to transport/stack/use) When Aspen first came into the UK it was available in 20LTRS/200LTRS like it is in Norway. Could you please explain why this changed as more expensive to purchase?
  6. So the FC are still selling to local councils but not the private public? Hmm.
  7. Normal tractors (those with small front wheels) have a solid back axle and are limited to 20MPH and therefore cannot drive on a Motorway unless there to repair the road/mow the grass. Fastrac/Unimog all have sprung axles and air brakes so can do 40MPH+ and I am told by Derbyshire/Nottingham Police can go on the Motorways. Trailers also need to have sprung axles/speed rated tyres/airbrakes.
  8. Fresh milk from a goat in a brew on one work site.
  9. The Police/Ambulance/Fire Service can do with hands and no boards. NFU told us Agricultural/Forestry workers can also when allowing vehicles driving out of difficult work sites on rural roads. The public can in a vehicle smash to avoid more problems. Does someone have a copy of the latest regulations please. Thanks.
  10. TEPCO have told lies for 20 years on this site. (Managers have resigned over this nonsence) Nuke Cloud is over some areas of Europe. Have a look on this link below. Slik beveger atomlekkasjene seg ? yr.no
  11. Give up coffee and tea and drink horlicks. Look at Tai Chi/Yoga. Dark curtains and fresh air in the room. Write down problems and leave them on the desk for the next daytime.
  12. This week went well nothing damaged/broken/stolen. I was dragged off to help sell some unwanted junk at a carboot sale at some time of the morning. Not looking forward to Monday as some legal paperwork regarding property hassle abroad to deal with.
  13. Which livestock are you moving and are they your own? Vehicle and distance? There are numerous regulations that apply depending on this. I have moved Iron Age pigs between sites I use and not all regulations are needed. New regulations are also on the containers used to transport.
  14. We had a rough old bench taken (the German Shepherd used when on site) Folks will take the most strange items. School Holidays? Leave something horrible on the top where hands go as it seems to work.
  15. Looks like an interesting introduction to tree working life. Nice Lemurs.
  16.
  17. Terrible low lifes. We know someone that this happened to at 3pm on a Wednesday when her husband died. Laws are too soft on the crooks.
  18. Looks interesting. How does it cope when covered with tree sap/sawdust and mud? I used to use normal tape but often faded/broke and cyclists liked to drive though it as a finish line in the woods:001_rolleyes: I now use orange hessian rope.
  19. We use three different versions depending on work. Oregon and Husqvarna. I found some old barbed wire alongside a hedgerow which caused hell with the blade. I used fencing pliers to remove.
  20. I have been to the place in Sheffield where some brands are produced. PPE has been around for 20+ years so should be able to make a long lasting cost effective design by now. Gloves and boots/helmets are good so why not the trousers?
  21. Bees and Wasps do like Yellow unlike Orange. (I laughed that the FC always wore Yellow helmets and were pestered by bugs) Orange is more visible in different light conditions.
  22. The Dangel conversions are not available in the UK now. Have you considered a VW T5 4x4/Mercedes Sprinter 4x4/Ausa 4x4?
  23. Mobiles should all have a GPS. Blood type is useful to know.
  24. I think the people that produce chainsaw trousers and jackets should be forced to wear them and walk up and down a mountain all week with a chainsaw and fuel/oil can. Then we might have some lightweight/waterproof/durable/ ones that do not rip in the groin area on climbing the first tree and soak chain oil into the materials. Legs/arms/chest are protected but no material in the vital groin area!! Why??
