So you'll be surprised how much you can do.

  7. During the very few hot days I wore sunnies that where safety wear and real enjoyed choggibg down and having no dust in my eyes but as the sun went I didn't bother getting normal ones. They looked bloody cool down the pub to haha
  8. When our work got done they took a climbing kit to but dumped it a few hundred feet along the escape route. Also they took a combo can filled up all nicked saws and dumped the can eith climbing kit! Hope you get sorted soon.
  9. The 390 is big bulky and under powered I haven't used a 362 but the old ones were great saws.

  11. True. I'm sure the goal post keep in changing with ages. I thought I could do the rigid but not have to wait a year and a half to do that! Sorry for the de rail
  12. I'm in this dilemma at the minute jut had my medical today but not sure which to go for. Maybe the test is easier for 7.5 due to size but at the end of the day it's all the luck of the day.
  13. Are o licences really that much of a pain? I thought it was a few forms and a few quid?
  14. Also our 550s had a new carb already and both are still pretty odd on the starting. Also our 395 decides to cut out after half a tank usual mid cut. Then wont start til you fill up. also one day itll run fine the next seems like a tuning problem. Our 372 looks like its ok now but was funny for a while. We moved camps but haven't been particularly impressed so far. Don't get me wrong there all good saws but surely we can't be that unlucky to get a bad batch on everyone.
  15. Hodge someone I know went through a couple of starter bits in little time on a 560 so complained to dealer. One of the first things he asked was are you using de comp buttons every start. No was the answer the dealer reckon that was why. Can't remember the details of why but he said every time you start one of the new saws you need de comp in. I still forget all the time.
  16. Used to do it at a different firm only fell off once gave me the willies a bit but was more worries about the grinder. Make of that what you will.
  17. Funny we phoned our dealer the other day who said they've never heard of it before??? And it's special order and not for our machine! Crazy.
  18. Don't street tree fells have to be left at 3 foot until the stumps being ground for elf n safety?
  19. I think i see about on average 7 tree gangs a day just on the way to a job. Once while stopping at a local garage there was 6 different firms waiting for fuel.
  20. Hahahahahhahaha you could do. allways getting the newbie drunk the night before staying up all night lost still in work gear then getting him climb all day is how it's done. Puking in your laps goodun to!
  21. There's nothing like sweating through a nasty hangover !
  22. Why!? Why call your pcso? What good would that do anyone In the entire world? He smoked a spiff on the way home in his own time? So what? It's his own time. Drugs arnt my thing but it's someone elses life to do as they please. As long as it doesn't effect my work I don't care.
  23. Personally I would go for shorts I've got the long gaffs and there good for soft woods but are not as good on thin bark trees sycamore beech etc thy can be a bit less stable IMO.
