  1. trying to take more pictures of my work. This was a 20 percent tulip reduction for a very picky customer with flower beds underneath Before during After
  2. I liked the xtc on armour prus but when I bought an imori I didn't get on with armour prus so changed to ocean pollyester which is perfect. Best knot IMO is vt but maybe try a Knut if your new to a hitch climber. Cambium savers are all the same to me i just use a real basic one. And yes oval crabs are best. If you want a different rope to imori get a tachyon.
  3. Didn't mean you personally just mean you in everyone that believes in anti this and anti that.
  4. Although I do agree with you and do support ukip and whole heartedly want out of Europe but you seem to believe everything you read in papers and seem really paranoid and that everyone is out to get you. I've been a bit like you before believing in anti this and anti that but it just makes you an angry person IMO. Unfortunately us wanting out eu will result in nothing us voting for ukip will do nothing except making us feel like we've tried. Each to there own and all that
  5. knut is a good starting knot but as soon as i get a vt adjusted right i dont think there is another knot compared. also ap is good on xtc
  6. I did the apprenticeship and I got all my basic cs plus more tickets from the college to I'm still within the industry as is one of the other lads I completed it with. The rest dropped out.
  7. So tommy if your commission was half if I won does that mean I get half of my bet money back from you? I put a score on him! I had a few others give me the same tip so I should still be quids in tonight!
  8. Put some in Cappa bleu and on his own.
  9. Anychance of geting a powerful winch to it? Geting the cable as high as possible and just winching it over in one? I did it once as an experienebt on a nasty horrible ash with splits all up it and a massive whole near roots with alot of root movement. Unfortunately the guy I was working for didnt have a big enough winch and it just wouldn't go I put a gob in very quick and small back cut after and as I knew it barber chaired but at least I was safe distance away. Could be an option even just at ladder hieght. Edit: took to long to type others got there before me
  10. Hi who you working for in t.wells? Im based that way to.
  11. Tis a tricky one really i think any extra training helps in terms of driving. The bloke who done my trailer course was obviously a hgv teacher to and taught me a few things that benefitted my driving in general so young lads and lasses doing hgvs early could benefit but then the other side of the coin is that after potentially a year of driving they can jump into a rigid pass a test an be on the road...
  12. Yes it wa directed at you but also others but didnt mean it to sound like it did And is good you don't have to do it. I though Of goung for hgv also but the way I read the gov site was you had to be 21 I know now that it's 18.
  13. Because were in an industry where towing happens virtually everyday and unless your lucky I'm sure everyone gets pulled over at somepoint in time. I can't be dealing with aggravation like that so 400 quid is little monney When it is effectively making me monney and others to. Plus that with points on a licence for "winging" it would put my already high insurance higher. On another note though a close family friend is a builder has never had a licence and has driven for 40 years and never been questioned about it.
  14. I only did 4 hours training that was minimum the company did. I also had to hire a vehicle and trailer as my car isn't capable of towing. That put the price up. Because of this also on the test I had to pay for the teacher to sit there and drink tea mAybe thats what put the price up. I don't really remebrt the price I think it was 400. It's monney well spent you're going to have to do it eventually stop moaning about it an do it ( not directed at you rob). I did mine mostly for my cv if there's 2 people with same skills tickets exp but ones got a trailer ticket one hasn't who do you think will get the work.
  15. 400-500 depending on how good and lucky you are test on it's own is about 150 but worth doing the training
  16. Are you trying to say that a 1/3 us the same as 80%?
  17. Edit I just relised what I said properly ignore first bit but I do really only use one to save friction
  18. Yet they are sold as a friction saver? That's the reason I use one.
