  1. Gutted for you mate there's plenty of scum around here. My main works in Maidstone so will keep an ear open. I know what you mean about bars in Maidstone there all nobs a mate of mine got us barred from everywhere in Maidstone coz one bouncer thought he looked a bit funny!!
  2. didnt fancy geting an arb trolley for it then mark?
  3. I've had mine about a week now. They take fair bit of braking in but once they have there a really comfy boot. It's been fairly damp and muddy here at the mo but they are alleays warm and dry. The main thing that put me off was the colour but I think after a day of use they looked fairly normal so don't let that put you off. The best thing is the grip I was working on a wet steep bank today and I didn't stack it once.
  4. Think it was used on a HC with 2 double fishermans as eyes. It wasnt old at all and seemed in good condition and think it was taken off and turned regularly.
  5. It basically wore away at the krab taking alot of metal off almost looked like someone had taken a file to it.
  6. Not to mention what OP done to someones krab!!!!
  7. I've just remembered I have used one... And it is a very good saw.
  8. Whoops silly me. I thought they were replacing another saw of that size? Maybe I'm just out the loop.
  9. Have you used one yet? I didn't think it was out???
  10. On my second day of the gay green boots and it's looking good the awful colour as nearly turned black ish. They take a bit of braking in but they are looking like there going to be a good pair and the 14 month guarantee makes it a no brainer really.
  11. I think I read off here that they used to do a fuel mix at 25:1??
  12. Yes there's a ticket for felling larger than 15 inch trees. Which again you only do with a 15 inch bar.
  13. It says something like you can fell a small tree up to 15 inch but doesn't say what size bar it has to be with. It's just for the course you use a 15 inch bar
  14. You can use any saw any size you want. If your being nit picky then it's the tree size you should br worrying about. Just crack on.
  15. Doesn't that sound same price as 200/201 price?
  16. I completely agree about the courses I never said I didn't I was just saying my experience and why people who have Done the course could still possibly make mistakes like this.
  17. On my cs30 a couple of years ago there was one question that asked what Is the correct fuel mix. All I answered was 50:1 and that was a pass. I don't think I ever got taught what 50:1 actually was on the course. I knew before hand because I worked before my course. So the cs30 doesn't mean you have to know everything.
  18. Get with the times my boy this wad so last year.!!!! You have been taught the proper way that Only cut and chuck is the rigging to do!!!!! Curry Monday????
  19. Spend the monney and get a jet boil I worked with a bloke who had one and it was super cool!

  22. there is an apprentership scheme Ive been there done that and got the certificate about a year ago ish
  23. I agree with this when I was 15 and was working I couldn't use a saw bench buy could use a pto splitter. If he is sensible there's no reason why not but that's regardless of age older people can be just as if mot more useless than young folk
  24. Sorry Steve I completely forgot to look there very sorry.
