  1. The machine is question appears to be of the gravity feed type, this being the case the blade to anvil gap is 1mm at lead in and 2mm at lead out, this is to achieve the positive feed in operation. The reason the anvil fixing holes will only allow fitting one way is because the anvil is tapered to achieve the correct set up. If you need any further help give Timberwolfs Technical helpline a call on 01449 765820:thumbup1:
  2. The half nut fitted to this shaft should have high strength Loctite applied to the threads before being torqued up to 65lb/ft. If the machine is used as per instructions in the manual, e.g service and blade change regime observed correctly and no stringy or non wood material fed through it, the rotor bearings will last in excess of 500 hours:thumbup1:
  3. Hi Sounds like the fuel shut off solenoid could be faulty or the engine safety circuits have been activated, Even a loose wire to the fuel solenoid or earth could cause this. Good luck
  4. Hi Al I suspect the TW190 brake shoes are bigger than the TW150, however as we just fit the complete Alko axle to new machines we do not have the individual specifications you require. Best route for this would be to speak to a towing equipment supplier such as Anglia Towing Equipment on 01206 795949. Hope this assists
  5. Hi Geoff, unfortunately we only stock complete Alko axles and do not have individual spares info for the parts identification. Towing equipment suppliers such as Anglia Towing equipment should be able to assist you with this one. They can be contacted on 01206 795949
  6. Looking at the blades I would suggest the horizontal and vertical anvils may also be damaged, in addition the rotor should be removed and all parts checked and damaged parts replaced. Using the machine without performing these checks could endanger the operator safety.
  7. Hi, the yellow paint code is BS4800 08E51 Full Gloss 90% finish. Hope this helps
  8. The wiring and heat sink you refer to is part of the original Honda engine loom associated with the battery charging circuit. Ensure your replacement engine is the same spec and rpm as the one removed.
  9. 6205 2RS C3 x 2 Nose shaft 6208 2RS C3 x 1 Rear shaft
  10. Hi Josh The rotor disc will need replacing, If your machine still has the original rotor disc fitted it will be the welded in type shaft which is no longer available. Replacing with the later type rotor and shaft is not straight forward and best carried out by a Timberwolf dealer. Please fell free to call Timberwolf's technical support helpline if you need any further information, they can be reached on 01449 765820
  11. Hello jimbowuk. Have you checked the Timberwolf website on Timberwolf UK | Introduction The website has a used machinery section and a wealth of information on wood chippers and shredder that will assist you. Why not give the sales team a call on 01449 765800:001_smile:
  12. Hi Josh The serial number indicates your machine is a CH30DH from 1997. Originally your feed rollers would have been controlled by the safety bar which would put the problem cause down to hydraulic issues, but I suspect the machine has probably been retro upgraded at some point since manufacture when safety standards changed. Give Timberwolf's technical support helpline a call on 01449 765820 they should be able to help.
  13. Hi Magwick, the problem could be oxidised/corroded contacts in the switch or a loose wire. If you cant get it fixed try calling Timberwolf's technical support line on 01449 765820
  14. Greasing frequency of the feed rollers is every 50 hours, Timberwolf now have machine manuals downloadable in PDF form from their website if the seller has not passed on a manual to you, one can be found on Timberwolf UK | Introduction. The service instructions and lots of valuable information can be found within.
  15. Hello Spares for your machine can be sourced through your local timberwolf dealer. If you are unsure where your nearest dealer is located you will find the information on Timberwolfs website. http://www.timberwolf-uk.com

  18. Hi Paullen You will need to check with universal engine power to get the correct engine specification It should not be an issue where your preferred purchasing point is.
  19. Hello Paullen Sorry to hear of the engine demise. The Honda GX630 does directly replace the earlier GX620, you may have to change the exhaust downpipes and muffler. For advice on changing the engine give Universal Engine power a call, they supply the GX630 engine for your machine. Contact phone number for their service department is 0844 2092514. Hope this helps:thumbup1:

  21. Hi Leotandoh12. When fitting new blades to your gravity fed chipper, apply copper grease to the blade bolt threads and torque each bolt to 22lb/ft Note; Before fitting replacement blades ensure the blade seat is clean. No material should be allowed to sit between the blade and the rotor. Hope this helps
  22. Hi Duncan I have spoken to the Honda engine supplier on your behalf, they believe the cause of your problem is fuel is restriction. The fuel filter has to be fitted in the correct flow direction, denoted by an arrow which is fitted pointing toward the engine. Check all of the remaining fuel line to ensure there are no other restrictions within its length. Hope this helps
  23. Hi Woodyjj Unfortunately Timberwolf does not have a dealership on the I.O.M, I would suggest giving Timberwolf's technical support helpline a call, they may be able to assist further, the number is 01449 765820. Hope this helps:001_smile:
  24. Hi Duncan I am making the assumption that your 2008 TW125 has a Honda GX620 engine fitted? These engines have an integral impulse pump fitted for fuel delivery and is unlikely to be the cause of your problem, As this problem has only been seen since the filter change I would suspect the inline fuel filter may be the problem. Is the replacement filter a genuine Honda one? If further help is needed give Timberwolf's technical helpline a call on 014490765820. Good Luck
  25. HI PMH The hydraulic pump is fitted with a standard taperlok which can be removed easily once the tandem pump has been removed from the chipper. Are you sure it is the pump at fault? Has the pump and valve pressure been tested? If you would like further advice on this it may be worth giving Timberwolf's Technical helpline a call on 01449 765820
