  1. Hi Sam As per our phone conversation, its likely the bearing support gear has failed. Once the cause is determined your local Authorised Timberwolf dealer should be able to supply the part to get you up and running again Hope our discussion helped
  2. Hi NoRush Most of the older chippers were fitted with Bradley axles which we have not stocked for many years, Bradley axle can be sourced through Anglia Towing Equipment on 01206 795949 Alternatively try your nearest Authorised Timberwolf dealer for advice? they should be able to identify and source a replacement for you. Details of your nearest dealer can be found on the Timberwolf website.
  3. Hello If the forward feed rollers turn at any rpm it would suggest either a fault with the no stress box or the wiring through the forward latch circuit is shorting to ground. On older machines such as yours it may be one of the directional valve coils has corroded and no longer insulated from ground at that point. I suggest the machine wiring is checked out by an authorised Timberwolf dealer or Auto electrician as soon as possible. Hope this helps

  9. Hello Malc The bolts are indeed thread locked in, on both the stub shaft and spline drive ends. Spline drive removal; Once the 3 cap screws are removed the spline can be withdrawn from the roller body. With the cap screws out try getting mole grips between one of the cap screw countersunk holes and the centre spline aperture, set the grips tight then wriggle the spline drive out. Timberwolf technical support 01449 765820 may be able to advise on this also. Hope this helps
  10. Hello Gerbutt The filler cap has a spring loaded seal within designed to open when the cooling system is over pressure, usually if an overheating event occurs and allow water to discharge until the pressure is stabilised. Best route would be to take your machine to an authorised Timberwolf or Kubota agent for checking if this is causing concern Hope this helps

  12. Hello Paul The TW230 Anvil has only one edge, which is non adjustable as it has been designed for quick change operation. There are no hard and fast rules on how long the anvil will last as it is totally dependant on what has been fed through the machine. The Anvil should last between 300-500 hours if clean wood is fed through the machine. Hope this helps

  17. Hi Stephen. The issue you have could point to many things, engine rpm incorrect, bad earth on the latching side of the relay or the ECU itself (especially if its the EPS100 ecu). If you don't find the solution give Timberwolfs technical line a call on 01449 765820 Hope this helps

  21. Hello, Timberwolf recommends using the correct belt tensioning gauge to ensure optimum performance from the no stress system, if the belts are not correctly tensioned the feed rollers may not stop/start within the specified parameters. Equally the blade sharpening angle is 40 degrees and hollow ground, the hollow ground element will ensure the optimum flow path ejection of the chips. Hope this helps
  22. For a TW 150 manual please try this link Manuals | Dealers | Timberwolf UK
  23. Hello Hamdogg, The current Timberwolf 150 models still use the same belt tensioner, so where you currently buy parts from should be able to help you with this. Think Ripon farm services are your local dealer. Hope this helps
  24. Hi Sam The most likely cause for the feed rollers not stopping early enough could be drive belt slippage. Check your belt tension is correct at 4mm deflection @ 4kg/f and tighten if necessary. If you require further info give Timberwolfs Technical line a call on 01449 765820
