  1. I use a 20mm thick 2x2m bit of rubber matting on top of old car tyres, it takes almost all the bounce out of rings or cord. The matting is a bit heavy but worth it.
  2. I've ordered the foam stuff, will let you know how it goes. I'm the OP btw got two accounts for some reason
  3. Helping my 5 year old with hers, surprised at how advanced they are at that age. Impressed with the teaching techniques and variation which is resulting in her reading and numbers noticeably improving. Some super basic science but no history yet. Her teacher is doing a great job keeping the homework fun and we are reading lots, hope its enough to keep her top of her class when they go back!

  5. I had a bodged on upper section from an army webbing set, cost peanuts and served well for years. I've taken it off now as post surgery for a collapsed disc I'm very conscious about not taking weight on my shoulders... Might be a way to try before you buy though...
  6. Hi, just putting feelers out; looking to make contact with any decent climbers out there who would travel to the area between Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury in Suffolk. All nice domestic work, I'm at the stage where I like to employ a climber for jobs that are more than a 2 man job so can run the floor/shape/deal with customer etc. Looking at dates mid April onwards. If you email on info@springhalltreecare.co.uk or text 07925853973 with your number/experience/dayrate I'll be in touch. Thanks, Michael
  7. Hi, Im trawling the internet for a fuel cap for my Entec 35db (same as 150, 190 etc id bet). Has anyone done the same recently enough to remember what keywords / brands /retailers led to success? Thanks, Michael
  8. Out of interest what are the new meindl airstream rocks like? On paper they are an improvement on the airstreams and should be a no brainer for anyone wanting to replace airstreams.
  9. Yeah sorry. I did ask her what she meant but she just looked at me like im an idiot.
