  1. Yes, high strength threadlock and torqued to 45lb/ft
  2. Hello Drew The 3 deep allen bolts you describe have to be removed first, you can then removed the spline drive from the hex roller. (This can be difficult if the spline drive and roller body have corroded over a period of years). Your local Timberwolf dealer or part supplier should be able to assist with removal. Good luck. Hope this helps
  3. All timberwolf manuals have a model specific wiring diagram located centrally between the operation and parts sections. If you have mislaid or lost your original manual; Just go to Wood Chippers, Industrial Chippers, Specialist Shredders - Timberwolf click on the dealer tab and a drop down menu will appear showing manuals. Once you click on the manuals tab all the current manuals can be found in pdf form and your copy own can be downloaded. Hope this assists
  4. Have you spoken to a Timberwolf dealer or auto electrician for assistance? Using a wiring diagram from the machine manual and a multimeter the problem should be easy to find. If you do not have a wiring diagram you can download one from the Timberwolf website Wood Chippers, Industrial Chippers, Specialist Shredders - Timberwolf Hope this helps
  5. Would this cable replacement be the throttle? It may have been altered when fitting it. The rpm has to be at the correct threshold to start the rollers. usually 2800 on a TW150 but varies on older machines. Any Timberwolf trained engineers should be able to get this going for you. :-)
  6. Hello Sent a Pm. Timberwolf
  7. Hello Check the normally closed circuit of the reverse switch this circuit holds the relay latched once the forward button has been depressed, plus check the crimps and female spades in the relay base. Hope this helps
  8. Hello Abor-trac If you give Timberwolfs Technical help line a call and give them details of the machine including the serial number they can mark the machine record accordingly. They can be reach on 01449 765820 Hope you get a swift recovery of your machine
  9. OEM is Original Equipment manufacturer (another words what's fitted originally at factory)
  10. Yes the current fuel cap is the same fitting as OEM.
  11. Timberwolf fan sections should not have threadlock applied to the fixing bolts. The bolt threads and washers should be coated in oil before fitting, all washers taken off the removed fans should be used in the same positions as removed, these may have been used as balancing aids from factory. Then starting at the central bolt torqued up to 30/b/ft, then 40lb/ft and finally 50lb/ft to locate the fans snug to rotor disc. Hope this helps
  12. Kubota use 10W-30 engine oil for UK application, this is used OEM from factory to comply with Kubota warranty. Batteries type 063SP should all have the same dimension and post configuration.
  13. Hello The locking fuel caps used on Timberwolf machines have a spring loaded ball in the cap itself for venting purposes. It always difficult to identify where a leak is coming from and it may be easier to take the machine to your nearest Timberwolf dealer for investigation. Your nearest authorised dealer can be found from the website Wood Chippers, Industrial Chippers, Specialist Shredders - Timberwolf and looking under the dealer locator. Hope this helps
  14. TW150 hydraulic roller pressures are set to 150BAR from the factory. Testing this should be carried out by either a Timberwolf dealer or a competent hydraulic engineer in a clean environment, if debris has entered the hydraulic system at anytime it can get trapped in the pressure relief valve and reduce the pulling power of the rollers. Hope this helps
  15. Hello, I would recommend taking the machine to a Timberwolf dealer on this one unless you have a high level of fitting skills and access to workshop equipment (e.g hydraulic press, lifting equipment etc) Hope this helps
  16. Hello The feed rollers tend to favour one side during normal operation which is why a regular greasing regime is so important. Timberwolf have produced a retro fit spacer washer which can be purchased and fitted between the hex roller and spline drive. Once fitted this will keep the hex roller and blade edge 3mm further away from the motor end of the roller box. Part number for this is P*20 and can be purchased from any authorised Timberwolf dealership for approx £7 + VAT. Hope this helps, if you need any further info on fitting this part give Timberwolfs technical helpline a call on 01449 765820
  17. Will need more information eg, model and serial to determine possible causes.
  18. Hello In the back of your machine manual you will find the parts breakdown pictures with part numbers where you can find all the information needed. If you do not have a manual for your machine a copy can be downloaded from our website Timberwolf UK | Introduction under the dealer tab. Alternatively call Timberwolf's Technical support helpline on 01449 765820 and they will be happy to email you a copy.
  19. The most likely cause is belt tension too slack, tension them up to the correct spec in the back of your manual, this should resolve the problem. :-)
  20. Hello Wrighttrees To remove the roller from the roller box you first need to remove the spline drive by taking the 3 cap screw out of the other end of the roller. Spline drives can be difficult to remove and you may need to involve a Timberwolf dealer to assist you with this. Details of your nearest Timberwolf dealership can be found on our website Timberwolf UK | Introduction Hope this helps
  21. Variation in blade length will not affect blockages in the machine, Blockages usually occur if the material being chipped is very wet or blades/anvils are not sharp and tearing instead of chipping. Hope this helps
  22. Stub Axles fitted with castellated nut and split pin; when refitting these ensure the bearings are packed with bearing grease and the rear seal (where fitted) are not damaged, (replace if damaged). Tighten the castellated nut until side play is removed and the split pin aperture is lined up with the castellation. Insert split pin and bend protruding ends in opposing orientation. It may be worthwhile taking the machine to an Authorised Timberwolf dealer if you are unsure. Hope this assists
  23. Hello Heapsfarm What is the model and serial number of the machine, this is required to establish what's fitted on your machine. If you need help sooner call Timberwolfs technical helpline on 01449 765820 but please make sure you have your machine details available.
  24. Hi Charlie The rollers should not change direction momentarily when you press the stop button unless the hydraulic spool valve is not stopping at the central position. If the rollers do not go forward it could be engine RPM is not correct, one of the switches or latching relay is defective. You could call Timberwolf's technical helpdesk on 01449 765820 for further info, make sure you have your model and serial number to hand as they will need this to give you correct info. Hope this helps
  25. A pre filter sounds good, but it may restrict air flow and give you additional problems. Much simpler to check for obstructions as outlined in the manual's service schedule. Hope this helps :-)
