  1. Quite right that’s why I went for the Cormidi so much more power and easier to use
  2. The one I saw was £9000 with 4in1 and trencher
  3. There looks to be a reasonable kanga on e bay (buyer beware!)
  4. The more the winch sticks out the better counterweight it is the space between is for placing wafer weights
  5. You can always look at kanga or the avant skid steer this has extending boom
  6. Much the same as in the picture above winch on demountable bracket on rear with drop down anchor
  7. Try adding method statement template
  8. Given what this part does you want to fit a Chinese knockoff to save less than the cost of 1 days hire, buy the part it will make your paperwork look good.
  9. I feel it’s time for a video!!!
  10. Company I sub to just bought five were given six to cover for warranty breakdowns, one was using nearly the same in adblue as diesel.
  11. I would count the fingers on your hand if you shake on a deal, slippery!!!!!
  12. Your lucky my foreman had his car rear ended outside a school lots of witnesses including police ad to agree to pay £500 excess and sign declaration to cover rest before Hastings would process claim.
  13. Chap near me has done this for winching
  14. Have you run the engine with the lid off the header tank see if it bubbles?
  15. Have you got correct level in radiator?
  16. Went for air bags on my defender, pump them up running laden reduce pressure when empty, got on board compressor to adjust them never run with less than 10 psi in bags, had them for 4 years no problems. Also make a heavy truck look sensible
  17. If the arb association is producing the code of practise how many people are involved/ consulted before its published I’ve always thought of the AA as a bit of an old boys club. Will they actually represent the industry or seek to ingratiate themselves with the HSE, if the industry doesn’t agree with the HSE how can it be enacted the HSE are not the experts if they were the AA would not be writing the icop, how representative is the AA of the industry are more than 50% of companies and individuals involved in arboriculture members? If not shouldn’t this be put out to the whole industry to write not just a couple of people in a office in Gloucestershire, I suggest the membership of this forum have more experience collectively than the AA Rant over
  18. They ricochet badly better with .17hmr but still need back stop pellets have far less travel, having used a hw 80 at 20 feet lbs. it was not as pleasant to use as a pcp and had a lot of spring noise and recoil I would try one before spending your money, also slow on second shot pcp is popular for a reason.
  19. Bellway ,Cadent, crest Nicholson, southern gas network Barrett Croydon was the worst wanted tickets for everything told them didn’t have strimmer, tracked stand on Dumper didn’t exist neither does tracked loader. So left site got call 5 mins later get back to site and start they would sort it out just make sure we had a supervisor gold card
  20. Gold is a supervisors card some sites require a supervisor if you have more than a couple of chaps working, and it looks better than a green one
  21. I have a gold fence erectors card been using it for site clearance for last 10 plus years the sites don’t care as long as you have a card they don’t even read them just want the number on the card
  22. Liss card covers tree work I get away with a std cscs labourers card usually they just want a card
  23. Is this as good as a dedicated grinder?
  24. My auger will bore through Tarmac I just found the lack of control and vision plus the amount of weight required meant that a dedicated grinder was far better. avant and some others used to do a stump grinder with its own engine for the front a better idea for a low powered loader
