  1. A good drive is not cheap make sure resin is uv stable best ones I’ve seen done are over porous Tarmac. I’m told the patent runs out soon on the resin then prices should fall
  2. So you got to use the canals for nothing didn’t pay for locks or maintaining banks left it up to us to do it for you?
  3. So not a open meeting, why not let us know what’s going on rather than the cloak and dagger secrecy. The lack of information from the AA doesn’t help just a post to let us know what’s happening would reassure people, the members of this forum care enough about their profession to post and reply on this and many other subjects the AA in my opinion seem to have the attitude that they know best and we should all keep quiet and carry on until we are sold down the river, I hope this is not the case and your post helps me belive this is not so, however to become truly representative of our industry you need to engage with the far larger majority of companies and people who are not members of your club.
  4. I signed petionn not received email today is the 2nd of February the supposed meeting is Tuesday they don’t want anybody there if it is going to happen. To arrange a meeting like this takes time so why the exceedingly short notice and absolute silence from the AA the organisation supposedly representing our interest.
  5. So why is this not posted by the AA?, 4th of feb leaves very little time to arrange I smell a stitch up
  6. I have a Newman frame for tree moving all you need is a loader to lift it, preparing before moving will benefit the tree
  7. It’s a chipper it chips and according to you a big engine what else is there to know if you put it on here so whilst the big engine is pushing out tonnes of carbon you can save on the paper and postage costs!
  8. Stihl 500i great saw keep till warranty’s out then sell buy local when it goes wrong your not going to fix it
  9. Fuel stop solenoid not returning look at the injector pump
  10. All gone quiet on the chipper has Pete B woken up?
  11. Stop solenoid? Does it turn over? Do you get white smoke out or nothing from the exhaust
  12. Apply through a third party checking service not direct to dbs
  13. Get the enhanced check then pay for the yearly register this will give you a number you give to the schools, you never have to fill the forms again and always have a upto date dbs check
  14. Are you cutting the pales or rails, if you can just remove the m12 rail bolts a sharp cold chisel and they will turn the head is a m12 square, if the pales are d section then squeeze with a g clamp and they will undo by hand . If not careful use of a 4 1/2 inch grinder try not to damage the galvaniseing.
  15. I’m still to be convinced that Pete is not having a wet dream this has be going on too long
  16. But what is normal Jackson’s quality or cheap spruce from wales?
  17. He has got the whole dairy on board
  18. Looks like the surprise is secondhand used machines
  19. Now that’s just teasing
  20. I’m beginning to think Pete has let the wine get to him, no pictures no proof of existence, sounds to me like the Loch Ness monster but there are pictures of that!
  21. As I understand these trees are next door access might be a problem and removing the ivy Criminal damage along with the tresspass not ways to recommend you to your next door neighbours i would have another talk and back this up with emails and or letter as per Micks response.
  22. Crane near railway!!!! Looks from all angles big money job, house doesn’t look in the stockbroker belt might be best left alone
  23. It was meant slightly tongue in cheek, I like the idea I’m not saying it will be easy if it was everyone would be at it but the savings can be worth it. We saved 20 thousand on the bulldozer and got delivery in 4 weeks not six months as cat wanted
  24. I’m with Eddie and just think a family holiday to USA/ Disney paid for by the tax man to visually inspect before purchase, Every time I have dealt with Americans they have been nothing but accommodating. The company I worked for bought a bulldozer I went to Indianapolis to see it they refused to allow me to book hotel stayed a md house two nights having done it I would again,
  25. Chassis American or uk made I put my bandit 90 against your comparison model admittedly you don’t want to tow it with a Ranger or Nivara and a shit paint job they are the bad bits, nearly two tonnes twice the size of the greenmech offering it chips all day long and also it lasts
